Chapter Text
In tommys opinion, things got better whenever the goose in question began to fight back.
In Ranboo's, however, that is when things went downhill.
He didnt quite know what compelled him to steal the goose.
It could have been that dare from tubbo, the taunting from tommy, or quite possibly he just wanted the creature.
Whatever his reasoning was, this could have gone a lot better than it currently was.
The goose had decided to wage war on him, and ranboo was not on the winning end.He eventually just dived for the creature after he had been chased around for about twenty minutes, rolling through the grass with it.Ranboo almost let go of the thing when it started biting at him, but held on as he heard the loud, wheezing laughter of Tommy and Tubbo.
What kept him going was spite towards the two of them.He dodged the wings of the quite frankly pissed off creature, eventually grasping it lightly by the neck and pushing its wings down with his knees.
What a weird sight it must have been, seeing a 6’6 teenage boy with his hair split dyed black and white holding down a goose in the middle of the park.
In fact, several mothers had quickly directed small children away from the thrashing, shouting, honking, and laughter.
By the time ranboo had recovered enough to hold the goose securely in his arms, he found the bench that had been previously occupied by Tommy and Tubbo empty, both teens now rolling in the grass. He was breathing heavily from his fight and was no doubt covered in dirt and bruises, and these two were just laughing at him. Should have tried to catch the thing themselves. It wasn’t easy.
By the time the two regathered their composure, ranboo was really getting sick of standing there with a goose in his arms.
“Are you done now?”
Let’s just say getting home from the park with the goose wasn’t any easier.
The only good thing was- the goose now had a name: Micheal.
Tommy had wanted a “badass” name due to the weird markings on it, but had been outvoted.
Ranboo thought his vote should count triple anyways, as he had gone through the process of catching it.
Micheal didn’t like the idea of being taken from the park very much, and made a ruckus as the three tried to leave, alerting several security guards. What type of park had security guards??
This is what lead to them running through the alleyway, goose in ranboos arms, and several authorities on their tail.
“Tommy are you sure you know where we’re going!”
None of this looked familiar to ranboo, and he really hoped Tommy wasn’t leading them into a dead end.
“Yes! Shut up keep hold of Bladeface and run!”
Of course he still insisted on using his own made-up name for Micheal.
“His name is Micheal!”
That one was Tubbo, who really liked his name, therefore outvoting Tommy four to one.Ranboo spared a look behind them, before abruptly crashing into Tommy and Tubbo, who had stopped.
A dead end. What was their life, a badly written movie plot? What would be even more cliche, Nightmare himself popping out of nowhere to save them? As if.
“We’re fucked guys.”
As it turns out, no super-hacker was needed, as Micheal had a hatred of security guards.
He struggled out of ranboos arms, before rushing the two security who had been chasing them. What kind of park needed security guards that couldn’t even take on a goose??
Nevertheless, the security guards were no longer a problem, and micheal was waddling back now stood in front of Tubbo like he wanted something.
“Well? Don’t be rude Tubbo, pick him up. He just saved all our asses”
Tommy looked slightly winded, his eyes wide. But that was to be expected whenever you had just watched a single goose take out two grown men honestly.
Tubbo, who looked more amazed than shocked, leaned down to pick Micheal up, the god-like goose snuggling gently down into his arms.
“Aww look at how cute he is!”
That, was not, in fact a normal reaction to this situation.
“PHIL WE’RE HOME!”
The three of them had collectively decided to just not mention the goose.
If they were ask, they were pretending like nothing was wrong.
They immediately took Micheal upstairs, towards Tommy’s room, the protesting blonde not really getting a choice as Tubbo barged past with the creature in his arms.
“Why are we in my room”
“It’s bigger than either of ours, get over it”
Ranboo let Tommy and Tubbo’s arguing fall into the background as Micheal waddled around on the red comforter of the bed, honking quietly.
He seemed much more calm than in the park, but maybe it was because he didn’t have the threat of an almost 6’6 teenager chasing him around.
A knock on the door snapped the two out of their arguing, and ranboo out of his daydream like state, and Tommy called out to let the outsider know they could come in
“What do you guys want for lun— what the fuck”
Wilbur, who had seemingly been coming to ask about lunch, broke off as he stared at Micheal.
“That’s bladeface. What is it to you”
“His name is Micheal, Tommy. You were outvoted four to one”
Tommy grumbled as Tubbo corrected him, asking why ranboos vote counted three times.
Wilbur, in turn, rubbed the bridge of his nose before disappearing from the room.
“I say that went well!”
Soon enough, Phil was calling the boys down for lunch.
Ranboo thought Wilbur would have mentioned Micheal, so when they were met with looks of surprise, he himself was surprised.
“What’s with the goose?”
Phil was staring at them with a mixture of disappointment and shock.
Ranboo supposed it wasn’t everyday that three of your adopted sons came down for lunch holding an oddly coloured avian.
“Oh that’s just Micheal”
They began taking their seats, it being a race to see who got the best one. Tubbo won, per usual.
He was a lot faster than he looked.
“And why do you have Micheal?”
Phil raised an eyebrow as his gaze settled over the three(well four if you counted Micheal) of them.
Tommy shrugged spooning Mac and cheese into his bowl once they had all collected themselves enough to go and get it.
The other two also mimicked his action, as Phil stared towards them.
Their silence only warranted a sigh from their father as they continued like nothing had happened.
“Did you at least give him a bath before you brought him into the dining room?”
“SEE TOMMY I TOLD YOU WE FORGOT SOMETHING!!”
Tubbo erupted into noise, almost dropping his bowl as he flailed his hands slightly.
The kitchen quickly became filled with noise as many voices were raised in... anger? Ranboo couldn’t tell, but Micheal was having none of it as he waddled to the feet of the two squabbling boys and began nipping at ankles.
Nothing quiets a kitchen more than a goose with an ankle-biting habit.
The rest of the family stared at them, techno now stood at the base of the stairs
Ranboo gave a small wave to him, as techno began moving again, brushing past the three to grab some of the Mac n cheese in a bowl before heading back upstairs, no words said.
“Why can’t you all be more like techno?”
There was a clang as Wilbur's head fell onto the table once more.
