With her head tilted back a drink in hand, Maya knew, without a doubt, that Carina was definitely correct in forcing her to get out their room. The sun on her face and body would do wonders for the tan that she needed. Carina had already told her she was pale. She had told her the moment she’d pulled on her bathers that she was pale. Sure, she’d seen her naked plenty of times but something about wearing swimmers really brought our the paleness.
Turning her head to the side, the firefighter smiles at the doctor beside her. She just seemed so happy and content where they were. She herself was happy. Sure, she’d been apprehensive at first, but she hadn’t been on a holiday in quite some time, nor had she taken a break since becoming Captain but to her, to her she felt like she couldn’t. She had too much to prove of course.
Maya however knew, she had to get her mind to settle down. If she didn’t, well, it wasn’t going to be a good trip. A trip that they had been planning for a couple of weeks now. Ever since Maya brought it up from where they were seated in front of the fire, they had of course first booked the week off before going through and planning their trip. Carina had more experience on where to go and where to stay and Maya was more than happy to follow through with her.
The last time, the blonde had gone on a holiday..she couldn’t even remember it. Since joining the fire academy, she was just focused on her career and moving up. She didn’t have the time for a holiday. Probably why she had so much time off up her sleeve. Hearing her name being purred in her direction, the blonde turned her head to the side and smiled fondly at the brunette who was lounging next to her.
“I’m sorry Carina, what was that? I seemed to be a little caught up in my own thoughts.” the blonde smiled, biting her lip as she looked sheepishly. She trailed her eyes up and down Carina’s body, taking in the different colored bikini she was wearing. She remembered when Carina brought it and didn’t want to show her but when she saw it in their room, she knew it was worth it. She herself wasn’t fond of bikini’s, especially in an hotel or resort, she would wear one if there were less people though.
“I said bambina, you need to get yourself out of that pretty head of yours and enjoy the sun and this drink.” Carina smiled, taking the other’s hand in her own and giving it a slight squeeze. With a smile, she looked down at the hand that was holding her own. She always seemed to know where she was in her mind and that’s exactly where she was.
Maya tilted her head, offering the brunette a smirk “You think my heads pretty?”. the blonde couldn’t help but wink playfully in her direction. She hadn’t been with the one person for quite some time but with Carina, everything just seemed to flow perfectly.
“Oh, you know I find your head pretty. I like your mouth especially.” Carina spoke up, cupping Maya’s cheek as she leaned in to place a soft kiss on her lips. Oh she knew exactly what she was referring to, and she also knew it definitely was not PG rated. Smiling into the kiss, Maya nibbled at her bottom lip before pulling away with a gasp.
“If we continue with where this kiss is going, we certainly would not be staying here.” Maya let out a laugh as her cheeks flushed red. Taking a sip of her drink, she looks down at the hand that is trailing up her thigh.
“And that is such a bad thing why bambina?”. Carina smirked as she squeezed Maya’s upper thigh, causing the blonde to let out a small moan before slapping away Carina’s hand.
“No no no. You told me to get out of the room, now you’re making sex eyes at me to try and get me back into the room? No no no. Not happening Doctor DeLuca. You keep your hands at a PG spot for the next couple of hours whilst we are in public, then you can take me back to our room and go non PG.” Maya remarked, placing her hand atop of Carina’s, eyeing the brunette to make sure she understood.
Carina gave the blonde a pout before speaking “Fine, I’ll keep my hands PG this once and then when I take you back to our room I plan to ravish you and ravish I will.” With one final squeeze of Maya’s thigh, the doctor returns her hand to her own lap as she finished off the drink in hand, indicating for the waitress to bring the duo another drink.
“Yes, keep your hands to yourself this once.” Maya smiled at Carina, chuckling at the antics that she was giving. When they weren’t in public, they were often entangled to one another but in public, if they were touching, it would only be their hands or foot here and there.
As their new drinks were brought by, Maya smiled her thanks as she used the straw and took a sip, letting out a soft sigh. This was definitely good much needed thing. “You know, I’m glad we did this. As much of a stresshead I’ve been lately, this was definitely needed.” the blonde admitted.
Carina offered the blonde a smile in return. She knew, how stressed she had been lately. She could see it in the lack of sleep she was getting and the different moods her girlfriend would often present. She was worried yes, but she also knew the break they were getting now was something that she needed.
“Thank you for making me come outside.” the blonde spoke, offering her girlfriend a grin with a tip of her drink in her direction.
“Thank you for coming outside but Maya..you’re a bit pale, don’t you think you should cover up?”. Carina can’t help but grin in her direction. Yes, she had said it, many times already, but that didn’t stop her from saying it again.
“Stop!.” Maya let out a laugh, rolling her eyes in the brunettes direction as she took a sip of her drink, watching as a group of guys approached them.
Although Maya couldn’t help but sit there, smiling as he was clearly trying to hit on them, he did after all say them having a good time was the only thing that mattered to him. But as he started to speak Italian after Carina did, she couldn’t help but stop smiling, No one got to mimic Carina and her italian but her. So, she had decided she’d had enough.
“Okay Todd, do you want to have some fun? If you can do more push ups than me, you can buy us drinks. But if I can do more push ups than you, you can buy us drinks and leave us the hell alone?”. She spoke as she leaned forward. He clearly had no idea who he was talking to. She was currently the one holding the pushup record at the station, if this jock thought he coud do more, then he clearly had another thing coming.
“I like a feisty woman, I’ll do it with one hand just to keep it even.” Todd remarked. Maya biting her lip to stop herself from rolling her eyes at his words. She might appear cocky but this guy...he was something else. As he took her drink from her to help her stand up, he clearly was trying to be gentlemen.
“I want to see this.” Carina spoke with a grin as she rolled over on the sun lounger so she could see the backside of her girlfriend.
Maya walked in front, zipping up the front of her bathers as she did, knowing this guy would be more than happy to see what’s down there but she wasn’t about to give him that satisfaction. Tying her hair up into a pony tail, the blonde got down on the ground, positioning her hands and feet to begin, smiling as he began.
As Todd put one arm behind his back, Maya rolled her eyes inwardly as they began. Up and down. That had always been one of her mantras and now was certainly no different. They were a few in when Todd started to wobble on one and put his other hand back down to do it with too but Maya couldn’t help but smirk.
“How about I do it with one, just to make it a bit more fair on you?’. Maya remarked, doing as she said and put one behind her back. The expression on Todd’s face was certainly priceless and made this, right here, that much more enjoyable. They went only a couple more before he dropped to the ground, much the displeasure of his friends that were around them but to the cheers of others.
Standing up, Maya dusted the dirt from her hands before smiling at the waitress “Another round of drinks on their tab..please.”
“And fries..and mozzarella sticks..thank you.” Carina couldn’t help but butt in. They weren’t on the table for them but they were now.
Maya walked passed Todd, shaking her head as he tried to lean in for a kiss but for the blonde, there was only one person she was putting her lips on. Walking around, she cupped Carina’s cheeks as she pressed her lips to hers, smiling as she pulled away. She could feel the stares on their backs and she laughed as she pulled away to smile.
“You’re right, vacation is fun.” she smiled as Carina returned her affirmation and placed another kiss on her lips. Pulling back, Maya turned around to see Todd and his friends still standing there, shocked. Not sure if it were because he got his ass kicked or they weren’t into them, either way, it made her laugh.
Maya however thought she’d be nice and instead, and walked towards the trio to give them a little bit of understanding as to why she out did the guy at push ups, especially when a man was meant to be stronger than women, but that was just the sexist side of things.
“I was going to go back over there and sit next to my girlfriend in the sun and enjoy the drinks and food that will be given to us because of your tab but I thought it’d be nice and tell you why you lost.” Maya spoke softly, clearing her throat before continuing with what she was saying “I’m Captain of a fire house station in seattle, I also am a former olympic champion in running, so it’s safe to say that I have to well on my game.” Maya offered the other a smirk.
“But anyways, I’m going to go celebrate with my girlfriend now. Thanks for the free drinks and food.” And with that, the blonde returned back to the sun lounges where her girlfriend in question was seated.
“You know, those push ups were certainly very nice to watch. I was not paying any attention to the contest though, I was watching your ass as you went up and down.” Carina smirked, leaning forward to run her hand up Maya’s thigh, stopping on the hip.
“Oh I know you were. I could feel your eyes on me.” Maya grinned as she leaned forward, placing a kiss on her lips before pulling away and continued “How about, we, get our cocktails and snacks delivered to our room instead of here, that way we can celebrate as well? So you don’t have to keep your hands PG.”
To anyone else, the words that left Maya’s mouth would’ve sounded probably not to what she was insinuating but it didn’t matter because Carina certainly did not mind and the smile that lit up her face, could clearly show that.
“That’s the best idea you’re had all day bella.”
