Chapter 1: Holding hands

Chapter Text

Jack sighed when Crow was tugging at his arm again, trying to pull him over to a stand that caught his attention, again getting sidetracked of the task at hand. Yusei on the other hand was content to just be led around the noisy market, holding tight to the back of Jack's jacket.

"Crow I know that it seems interesting but we really need to get going when we want to make it in time for meeting with the others." huffed the blond as he gently pulled the ginger back to his side, pinkie fingers locked together to not let the youngest run off.

Even though Crow sulked, he obeyed, following his brother as he babbled about all the strategies he came up with for using his beloved blackwings. Jack nodded along or put in his thoughts about the bird's ideas.

"And then when Armed wing and Sirocco are on the field, I could stack the effects of Sirocco when I use the quick play spell Swallow's nest to get a second Sirocco--“ the small male said excitedly, swinging the hand that was locked with the tall male.

The blond shifted his focus to Yusei when he felt a tug on his jacket, looking down to the quieter male. "What is it, Yusei?" the king asked gently, watching as the crab avoided looking him directly in the eyes. The bird stopped his rant to look at his brother too.

Both noticed the way Yusei was fiddling with his own shirt, smiling knowingly when Jack offered his hand to the quiet male. The crab looked up shortly before he let go of both Jack's jacket and his shirt, before he took the tall males hand.

As they continued their way the crab fiddled carefully with the king's hand, listening, content again, to the bird's endless babbling when he last picked off where he had stopped.
