Peter couldn't stop the growing, beaming smile under his mask even if he tried.
Today is a Friday, arguably the best day of the week for two main reasons: 1) it's the last day of a school week, which gives way to two whole days of rest before the cycle starts anew, and 2) Mr. Stark has declared Fridays as Peter Parker visiting days after working out a deal with May.
He gets to spend both the night and the rest of the weekend at the tower, which is so cool in and of itself, but he mostly cherishes the hours he gets to spend with the team; coincidentally (or maybe, more realistically, because of it), the other Avengers have made a habit out of converging together on Mr. Stark's main floor to spend time together as soon as Peter steps foot into the building, which never fails to make Peter feel all warm and tingly inside.
They've taken to calling their get-togethers Friday Gaming Tournament Nights. Or F.G.T.N. for short, although nobody knows how in the fresh hell they're supposed to pronounce that without giving themselves an aneurysm each time. The closest they've gotten was Clint calling it "fettuccine", and even then that's inaccurate.
