“I love you, okay?”
She nodded, “I love you too.”
”you have to trust me. I’ll be okay, you stay here and I’ll look for Hannah.”
”I..I don’t want you to leave, what if you die? What if murder is still out there?!”
A pause.
”then I’ll die.”
Tears formed in Historia’s eyes, she let them rolled down her face, “Ymir! Seriously stop, you’re staying with us and that’s final.”
”well somebody has to look for Hannah and nobody here has the fucking balls to do it! So I’m doing it, I do t care if I die anymore, I just want everyone to be safe.”
They were currently in an bathroom stall, Ymir’s rough, strong hands were cupping Historia’s face, she was being gentle with her like she would break if Ymir held her face to hard. Historia’s hands were gripping Ymir’s wrists, she really didn’t want Ymir to leave her.
She never did, she left Ymir once and she isn’t going to do it again. She absolutely hates herself for it, she already hated herself before that anyway spit didn’t make that much of a difference, if Historia was being honest, Ymir was the only thing that kept her from ending it.
”Hannah will probably be dead, and if she isn’t well it’s a miracle.” Historia finally spoke up after at least a minute of thinking.
”I don’t care, Historia. I just want to make sure, okay?” Ymir planted a kiss to Historia’s forehead and pulled away to make eye contact.
”you can trust me. I’ll be fine, I promise. I won’t leave you.” Ymir let her face go and pulled her close, Historia let herself relax just this once, it could be that last time she ever saw Ymir other than her head being cut in half but an axe.
“Ymir you’re not going” She could tell Ymir had finally got pissed.
”Just let me do this one fucking thing!”
”not when you’re life is on the line!”
They shouted at each other back and forth, “you know what?! I fucking hate you! I always have! You’re so fucking selfish, all you ever do is think that the world revolves around you! Well surprise, surprise, it doesn’t!”
Ymir didn’t answer, she just..stared.
”Die for all I care! I don’t give a fuck anymore! Fucking see Hannah be dead with her head in half! And watch you be next!” Historia didn’t mean any of those things she said but she just left Ymir standing there, shocked.
After a whole of staying with the others she had saw Ymir leave and then somebody lock the door behind her, they were in a cabin that was a mess hall for all the people in Shiganshina camp, in the small town Shiganshina, some people called it nicknames that relate to all the people who are suddenly going “insane” with no indication at all.
Historia thought it was total bull shit, people don’t just go “insane.”
It it has been hours, nobody had heard anything, but there had been a sudden sound that basically made almost everyone jump and instantly be terrified.
A voice behind the door called out, “Please! Let me in!” It was Hannah’s voice, but shouldn’t Ymir’s be with her?
A boy called, Reiner had let her in, she looked totally messed up, she had cuts and she was covered in blood. But Historia noticed, Ymir wasn’t with her. Why?
Another boy called Bertholdt who was an absolute giant, like Ymir, had closed and locked the door when’s Reiner helped Hannah sit down on a seat.
She was pale and was absolutely terrified, she kept jumping from the sound of a voice or when someone touched her, she definitely seen shit. “Hannah! What happened?! Where’s Ymir?!” Bertholdt spoke up, he was incredibly worried for his sister and where she was, he was a great brother.
Silence for a second.
”Ymir..she, she, she-“
“She what?!” Reiner’s voices echoed.
”She died.”
Historia’s heart dropped by those words.
”She..she what?” Bertholdt asked.
”she died, I saw it with my two eyes! That man kept hitting her with the axe! Her face didn’t even look human anymore.”
“What..?” Historia finally spoke up by a moment of silence.
Her eyes were widened and she looked pale.
”I won’t leave you.”
