Here is a short explanation of “My God Husbands AU”! Just for y'all to know some surface level stuff.
1- Everything has minecraft logic to it.
Dream can join worlds, ya know for his speedruns and such. These worlds are considerably safer, they are called prototype worlds where nothing usually happens and will really only have other actual people if they are invited. So beating the ender dragon can be done over and over again and in a different setting world. There are also regular worlds where people just chill and just be a normal mortal world.
But there's one world where the gods directly live in and run their respective dimensions, like Technoblade in the nether and Will in the end, they may seem like a prototype world but they aren’t, their just not meant for regular folk (expect for those who are very powerful and or want vengeance and fight them gods). XD is here too but he is a world hopper too so he is not usually in one spot for long or really cares about fighting for anything other than amusement.
People can respawn in prototype worlds, in the gods world dying is for real. In all, everyone who is not a god can die by old-age.
Other minecraft mechanics as well, also you could say Dream is basically an Admin.
Competitions, records, etc still exist.
2- Gods
Three main gods of the world , Dragon of the End (Wilbur) , Blood God Of The Nether (Techno) and The Smile Of The Biomes (XD).

Phil is a immortal due to loopholes
They are sorta of parents to Techno and Will, since here gods are born but at the same time made (it will be explain in a origins chapter perhaps)
but sorry Mumza and Dadza are very minor so lets move on-)
They really don’t do much other than destroy whoever goes to their territory but they do have a lot of enemies and people who despise them, along with some worshipers.
They have killed A LOT of people .
Gods don’t age once they hit their prime, so essentially they are immortal
There's a rumor if someone kills them, their immortality will be given to that person along with their title
3- This is pure crack
These explanations may make it out as a serious fic but it is really not and these are really just to base some type of logic to this fic (i may or may not accidentally bend some of the rules/lore i made cause the crack needs it lmao). A lot of chessy fluffy situations with some good angst are also included here.
Btw Dream is romantically involved with Techno and Wilbur, but they aren’t with each other (they despise each other if not slightly tolerate)
