Unfortunately that all comes to a screeching halt when he wakes up one morning in a bed not his own, right next to a guy he’s never met before. Turns out he’s actually pretty chill, and Dream finds himself liking the man more and more as the misunderstanding is cleared.Series

Punz had a pretty good life, if you asked anyone other than him. But being hot and athletic doesn’t mean everything, and he’d been prepared to breathe his last when he’d walked onto that roof.
But seeing someone else step off had shattered any semblance of resolve he had, and he just couldn’t let it end like that, for either of them.

“Join my crew!” The young man shouted. They stared at him for a moment before laughing. “I can’t be on the crew of a kid! No way.” And yet here they were, forty years later, at that same kid’s execution. They wished they had said yes.
“Why don’t you want to join Pops’s family?” The blond asked, and they hummed idly. “I’m already following Roger. But maybe in the next life, kid.”
“Please take him somewhere safe, raise him as your own.” They stared at the infant in his mother’s arms, with those big grey eyes and freckles dotted like stars. They shook their head. “You’re his mother, you will survive to raise him.”
The man rolled his eyes. “As if, you would be a terrible parent.” They shouted in outrage. “I’ll have you know I would be a fantastic parent! I raised you into being a revolutionary leader, didn’t I?” He sputtered, face going red. “You did not raise me! We’ve known each other for four years!” “Psh, you were practically a toddler back then.”
Did I do enough? Did I keep my promise? Can you rest in peace now?

Summary
I enjoy writing a lot, but am not very good at actual plot, so something that ends up happening quite often is I read a story and come up with scenes that go with the story, and end up writing them in the comments. Recently I thought “hey? Why not actually post these? Bring more attention to these incredible stories!” So that’s what I’m doing :)

Summary
Etho had only discovered how disliked witches and their familiars were after already setting foot in the town, and with both of them being newcomers, there were too many curious eyes on them from the second they arrived. Bdubs had been riding in owl form on Etho's shoulder for the most recent part of the trip, his tiny form tucked up against the fluff of Etho's hood with his talons tightly gripping the fabric of his magebond's jacket. He had intended to turn back to his human form (or at least an avian one) once they arrived in town.
But the signs were clear from the moment they stepped past the border. The banning of witches from most inns and taverns, the refusal of service to hybrids and those of non-overworld descent. They would have to be careful. Right?

OR: When Etho and Bdubs have to spend the night in a town that isn't friendly toward their kind, Bdubs has no choice but to remain in owl form until they get back to their room...and Etho takes (amused) advantage of the situation.
