“There is nothing to tell,” Sapnap says.
Karl gives up, resting his arms behind Sapnap’s neck. Just being there, together, that was enough for the both of them.
“It’s so cold,” Karl shivers.
Sapnap watches him through hooded eyes. He cupped Karl’s face gently with his hands and swore.
“For you, my love, I would set the world on fire if it meant you were warm.”or;
Time travelers aren’t supposed to get stuck.
When Karl pushes his powers too far, warping him back in time with hardly a day’s warning, he’s lost.
No matter his effort to shift back to his time, where his friends await, he just can’t seem to make it. And with no apparent task at hand, no way to get back, he’s stuck.
He does what he must to get by in the war-torn world he’s been thrown into. All he has to do is stay alive, keep his memories, and definitely not fall in love. -
