Work Header

Permanent Markers are not makeup.

Summary:

Young Boba and Omega Fett find sharpies in their father's thing while he's out.

Notes:

Based on a true story involving myself, my twin, a red sharpie, and a whole lot of benadryl.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

J: "Hunter, have you seen Boba or Omega?"

H: "Uhh, yeah they're in their room drawing?"

J: "With what?"

H: "A sharpie. Why?"

J: "Shit"

His dear son and daughter indeed found a marker, a sharpie to be exact. But instead of drawing of paper or the walls they drew on the other's face. With red sharpie. And when he caught them red handed (pun intended), they didn't even try to hide the fact and tried to draw on his face. He took the marker away, much to his children's sadness and tears. Stripping the fussing tots of their red stained clothing, throwing the items into the laundry shoot (maybe the Kaminoans had something that could remove the stains) and plopped the toddlers into the bath.

Even after scrubbing the kids as hard as he dared are failing to remove the permanent marker, he reluctantly remove the children from the now cool water and drained the bathtub. After dressing the pseudo twins in warm night dresses and placed them in front of the tv with a dinner of dinosaur shaped nuggets, cotton candy flavored yogurts, pretzels, carrots with ranch, and apple juice placed on matching orange cat plates and sippy cups, called his elder son.

J: "Hunter, how do you remove permanent marker from skin?"

H: "Idk buir, let me ask 99, he knows these things."

Silence.......................

H: "He said rubbing alcohol should work."

J: "Thank you Hunter and thank 99 for me."

H: "Will do, mahal kita buir"

J: "Mahal Kita ade. Also you're never babysitting them again."

H: "That's completely fair. Bye."

J: "Bye bye"

(Good news, the rubbing alcohol did remove the ink. Bad news, Omega is severely allergic to red dye.)

Notes:

(Fun Fact, I'm severely allergic to red dye, though we found this out through Skittles and bath crayons, not through a permanent marker. But my twin and I did draw on each other's with sharpie once.)

I hope you enjoyed this lovely story - S. Aurora
