This fic was painnnn. Watching them both deteriorate like that hurt so much, especially when it was almost entirely caused by fear. Papyrus is a good brother, he's doing his very best, and I'm proud of him. Legend that he is. Sans is so well written here, I loved the way his sluggishness and hopelessness was captured as things took a turn for the worst. I also loved how the brothers' relationship was depicted, how Paps really looks up to and cares about Sans even if he rarely shows it.
