When a kid usually reaches eight years old, they ask their parents for gifts.
They might ask for a shoe, maybe a doll, a hero-costume, or maybe even something else...
When Izuku Midoriya had reached 8 years old, his only dreams was to be allowed to stay with his parents, to get a quirk so he wouldn't be forced to leave few of those that loved him behind. But of course- he hadn't been that lucky...
7 years later and class 1-A and 1-B are given their very first official mission, where they need to check out the accidents that are happening in a far away island that most of hem hasn't heard before...
(Or the story where the governments of Japan think that those who are quirkless are a liability to Japan, and send them to a far away island when they reach 8 years old- without any hope of communication to those that they have left behind.)
