Chapter Text
He blinked his eyes open, and wished that he hadn’t right away.
The blinding sun that shone upon him made him scowl in distaste- before he turned to his side.
Shouta stopped for a minute and turned away from the figure that had been lying on the ground next to him.
He rubbed his eyes, before turning towards the male on his side once again.
This- this couldn’t be right…
He pinched his arm a bit, and frowned when it actually hurt.
What the f*ck?..
‘’Shouta!’’ someone yelled, and jumped onto his back, and the black haired pro-hero threw him to the ground and onto the sleeping figure- his frown never leaving his face.
‘’Owww…’’ the blonde groaned, his hair covering his face and going into his mouth.
‘’Ooft’’ the other male let out and Shouta felt all the air leave his lungs as he forgot how to breath for a moment.
It couldn’t be…
‘’Shouta, what was that for?’’ the male groaned and his light blue eyes stared back at him…
‘’I think that he is still angry that I stole his pudding last week.’’ Hizashi answered, before the blue haired male let out a groan.
‘’You stole it, not me! How do I end up the one that gets squashed like a bug?!’’
Shouta looked at the goggles that hang loosely on the tealnette’s neck, and turned towards Hizashi who had moved to the side a bit.
‘’Hey,’’ Oboro became serious, and bent forward- not caring about his personal space.
Their foreheads touched, and Shouta’s frown deepened.
‘’Does he have a fever?’’ Zashi asked calmly, and Oboro backed away a bit, before shaking his head.
‘’I don’t think so…’’ he answered, before turning towards Shouta’s husband with a glare.
‘’Wasn’t it your turn with the paperworks this time?’’ the tealnette asked and the blonde pro-hero just pouted.
‘’Well, there was a new case that we needed to look over, so I came here to tell it to you guys!’’
Shouta just watched them from the sidelines as the two playfully bickered with each other.
His eyes drifted towards their hands that kept on moving, and felt his heart drop when he saw the matching rings.
He combed his fingers through his hair, and stopped- as his ring got stuck in his hair.
He pulled his hand away carefully and stared at his wedding ring- which matched the one that.
That was right, they had gotten married 7 years ago after they had graduated from Yuuei and had opened their own agency.
Yeah, there was nothing wrong… Nothing wrong at all.
‘’Shout would you tell him something?’’ Zashi whined, but Oboro just turned towards him and flashed a small grin, before making a peace-out sign.
Shouta deadpanned at his lover's action, and sighed, before turning towards Oboro.
‘’Something.’’ he said plainly without even thinking, and it was enough to make Hizashi pout even more and for Oboro to let out a loud laugh.
Kami, he loved both of these idiots so much. They had achieved so many things, had come so far ever since they had graduated together and - A stray tear fell off his left eye at that, and he frowned, going to wipe it off.
But it ended up triggering even more tears that followed after it.
This, this was stupid. He wasn't sad, he wasn't really really happy to the point of crying, he wasn't hurt, so why was he…
‘’Shouta?’’ he heard Hizashi asked worriedly, and looked away. ‘’Hey, hey- what's wrong?’’
‘’I must have gotten dust in my eye or something,'' he answered as he continued to wipe his eyes.
Soon enough, a frowning Oboro blocked his eye sight, and pushed his hands away before softly taking a hold of his face with his two hands, gingerly wiping every tear that seemed to escape.
Nothing was wrong, everything was just perfect…
Shouta took a hold of the tealnette's hand, before also taking a hold of Hizashi's hand- who had just moved to sit next to him.
He squuezed their hands thightly, not even knowing why he was doing it, and felt even more tears escape his eyes.
So why did a vice inside of his head whispered at him that he didn't deserve them, and why did it feel like everything was wrong?
