Work Text:

It's a lonely, gruelling job— digging holes for bodies night after night. But Draco will do the dirty work if that allows him to exist and get by.
Then, Harry starts showing up every night to get Draco's insights for an investigation linked to recent grave robberies. He certainly makes good company, especially when odd things stir in the dark...
For Prompt #287.
For Zebru's prompt: Draco gets a job digging graves and Harry is investigating grave robberies or being a guard to prevent further ones. He needs to talk about to Draco about protection spells put on graves and the process of securing grave sites. A lot of nights spent together at grave yards. Draco gets spooked easily at night.
This was such an interesting prompt to interpret as art, especially for spooky season! Definitely different from what I usually draw, and it was more challenging and labour-intensive than anticipated. But I love how this came out at the end. I may make more art in this style in the future.
Thanks a bunch to my partner, who actually kept encouraging me to keep going with this project, and the lovely mods for being so accommodating and awesome as always. <3 Enjoy!
