"Idiot" Ray muttered as he walked into the bedroom carrying a try with a bowl of soup on it. Along with a glass of water and some headache medicine.
"Come on Ray that isnt very nice! Norman is not an idiot!" Emma protested entering the room behind him.
Norman just offered a grin in return. Ray placed the try across Norman's lap saying "What were you thinking not bringing a jacket to the apple orchard the other day? It was 53 degrees out! And then you got sick yesterday without telling us and went to work?! Seriously, what were you thinking??" Norman smiled gently "I guess I wasn't thinking." "Obviously" Ray muttered. "I wasnt wearing a jacket either though, and I'm perfectly fine!" Emma said with a smile. Ray just rolled his eyes "That's cause you're you Emma. Norman doesnt have as good of an immune system as you do. It's even worse now after LAMBDA." Emma frowned at the mention of that place. It has caused so much pain to her boyfriend. Which in return, caused pain on all of them.
Norman noticed Emma's smile drop and quickly said "Hey, cheer up! It's okay, really. I'm sure I'll get better in no time! Then I'll be able to go back to work and everything will go back to normal. You'll see!" Emma nodded in reply. Norman wasnt to happy with that response "Come here ladybug." Norman said opening his arms for her. That made Emma grin and went to go cuddle against him when Ray grabbed her shoulder "Emma! He's sick! How many times do I have to tell you before you understand?! You cant cuddle people who are sick or you'll get sick. It's common sinse! And Norman you cant go back to work sick! I wont allow you to! Seriously how dumb are you guys?!" Both Emma and Norman giggled a bit. Ray glared "I dont see what's so funny." Emma smiled and said "You're right. I am pretty naïve sometimes, but you still love me!" Ray blushed a little, hiding it behind his hair "But Norman? Dumb is definitely not a word I'd use to describe him." Norman chuckled a bit at that. Ray just rolled his eyes and exited the room. "He's so cute when he's flustered." Emma said smiling. Norman nodded in agreement.

A few hours later, despite the amount of times Ray told her not to, Emma was cuddled up against Norman's chest on the bed. Ray was outside shooting some arrows at some trees in the woods surrounding their property. He was barely visible from their bedroom window, but both Emma and Norman could see his lime green jacket.
A few minutes later, Ray's phone buzzed
Emma: I'm hungryyy
Ray rolled his eyes before responding
Ray: Then make something. I'm a little busy atm. There's some cans of soup in the cabinet for Norman if he's hungry as well.
There were a few minutes of no response before he got another text
Emma: Can't you make somethingggg. I want good food. So does Norman
Ray: No! Go get the food we bought the other day out of the kitchen and make something!
Emma: *pouts*
Ray: You can pout all you want. I'm not making you lunch!
Ray turned off his phone and put it back in the pocket, lining up another arrow when his phone went off again. He took a deep sigh and lowered the arrow checking his phone again.
Norman: Pleaseeeee
Ray: Ugh fine
Ray packed up his equipment and headed back inside.
Emma and Norman watched him make his way back in the house with victorious smiles on their faces.

About a half hour after getting inside, Ray brought them their lunch. Mashed potatoes and gravy and some mac'n cheese.
"You guys are annoying you know that?" Ray said taking a seat on the bed beside his partners. "Yeah we know. But you love us." Norman said with a smile "Of course I do genius. Now eat up." They each very willingly complied.

A few hours later Norman was asleep after receiving strict orders from Ray that if he didnt take at least a three hour nap, Ray wouldnt make supper. Which, all of them knew wasnt true. With enough convincing Ray would most definitely cave. However, Norman was tired, so he decided to comply.
Ray and Emma were sitting on the couch in the living room. Ray reading a book while Emma played a game on her phone. Typically Norman would be sitting between them playing a game of solitaire on days like these, but he was sick. So obviously he was restricted to their bedroom and their bathroom.
"You're an amazing boyfriend. You know that right?" Emma said not removing her eyes from her phone screen. Ray peered over his book at her saying "I try." Emma smiled at that, closing the app and setting her phone down and crawled over to Ray. Emma took the book from his hands and set it aside "Hey!" He protested. Emma just giggled before laying down against his chest and cuddling against him. Ray's cheeks got all blushy. He'd be lying if he said he didnt enjoy cuddle time. Just didnt want to admit it.
Emma wrapped her arms around his waist and listened to his heartbeat "You're warm." She breathed out "That's good. If I wasnt I would be a vampire." Emma giggle and said "You're funny" "You're clingy." Ray shot back at her "You like it." Emma said softly "Do I?" "You know you do." "I do?" "Rayyyyy" Ray chuckled and ran his fingers through her hair "Love you orange blossom" Emma smiled more at the nickname "Love you more Sunshine." She replied. "Not possible." "To bad. I already said it." "Well then take it back!" "Not possible." Emma said. She loved their bickering "You're annoying." "I know. But you love me." "I do?" "Yep" "Mm" "Ray! You have to say I love you back!" Ray smiled and tilted her chin up and kissed her softly. That was enough of a reply for her.

The two of them ended up falling asleep on the couch together and waking up around supper time. Ray told Emma to go wake up Norman and he would start making supper. Emma nodded and went to go wake him up.
"Hey blueberry. Time to wake up." Emma shook his shoulder gently. Norman opened his eyes a bit and wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her onto that bed with him. Emma shrieked and giggled. Norman cuddled around her. "C'mon sleepy head. You have to wake up. It's almost supper time." "Msick. Lemme sleepppp." Norman slurred. Emma just giggled and brushed some hair out of his face. "Sorry babe. But you gotta get up. C'mon." Emma pulled him up into a sitting position but that didnt do much. He just slumped back over. "Fineeee. A few more minutes. That's it." Norman nodded and curled around her again. They both ended up falling back asleep.

The next thing they knew, Ray had a spray bottle and spraying them awake with it. Emma groaned out "Rayyyyy" Norman reached over for Ray's leg saying "Babe c'monnnn. No waterrrr. Msickkkk" Ray rolled his eyes saying "Well who's fault is that? Come on supper is getting cold."
Ray made sure they were both more awake before bringing in their supper. Chicken noodle soup with some bread and butter. Each of them had it gone within minutes. It's always hard to resist Ray's soup.

The rest of the night was pretty peaceful. They all sat on their shared bed watching tv for the rest of the night.
Soon enough bedtime rolled around. "Rayyy, will you please sleep in hereeee." Emma asked "Norman will get lonelyyyy." Norman nodded in agreement. Ray rolled his eyes "I'm not getting sick." "You wonttt. I promiseeee." Ray sighed before laying on the other side of Emma. Not wanting to be close to Norman. He did however wrap an arm around both of them. Holding them both close.
They each shared their I love you's before falling asleep in each others arms.
