    Remus had an accident with a memory spell that ended up altering his memory; for example, he doesn’t recognize Sirius anymore, but he knows that he knows someone named Sirius. He’s taken to St Mungos where they check one of his memories with Sirius, everything else in the memory is how it’s supposed to be, except that Sirius’ face and voice are gone as if hidden behind a veil that they cannot remove.

    This is not going to be fun btw.
