Summary:

Izuku is a hero student going to UA Academy, a prestigious hero collage that raises only the best of the best. With the help of All might and his new quirk, One For All, he'll finally be able to become the hero he wanted to be.

Only... Will he be able to become one when he gets transported to a new world of fantasy?

He meets his childhood friend and everyone from UA, but they don't even know who he is. He learns a lot the longer he was trapped there, the truth, origins and who he truly is and supposed to be. He falls in love soon after and realizes that maybe... He doesn't want to go back.

(Changed the original description because it was crap)

Notes:

Disclaimer!
I do NOT own My Hero Academia, it belongs respectively to Kohei Hirokoshi. Same thing with all the pics, songs, and vids unless said otherwise.

A few things I'd like to point out:
- This is a story inspired by the youtuber "Momo" that made a beautiful playlist of this and gave a basic plot that inspired me to write this! Here's the link if you want to listen to this while reading. https://youtu.be/cS9ze1CMmrY
(A special thanks to them since they let me make this!)
-And if you read the description, you should know that UA is a collage school so the characters' ages are 19. But that won't be important once we're in the second chap and everything after that. ;)
-The events are mostly the same until Hosu, after that, its a completely different story in another world.

I hope you're ready for the ride!

And a little WARNING: There might be some themes that could make you uncomfortable or trigger you, so please back away slowly and retreat while you still can.

Chapter 1: Taken

Chapter Text

~~~~~~~~~~
The smell of smoke and sound of fire cackling surrounded them as three  UA students watch the pro heroes take in the hero killer: Stain. The three were currently very exhausted with the fight that occured and just wanted to go home, but that couldn't happen as they had to wait for an ambulance to arrive to take them to the hospital.
"Midoriya, are you alright?" Shoto asked as they started walking to the meeting point.
The greenette hummed and turned to the dual haired boy's direction, a tired smile gracing his adorable features as he replied. "Yeah, a few injuries won't hurt. I just really want to go to bed right now."
Shoto nodded. "Me too. Though some cold soba on the way there should be enough to keep me going." His words made Izuku laugh. "You really love cold soba don't you?"
"Soba is life."
"Not really... But whatever floats your boat Todoroki."
"Midoriya, Todoroki." The sound of Tenya's voice interrupted their conversation as the two turned to the bluenette.
"Yes?/what?"
Tenya's brows furrowed and his mouth became a straight line, his eyes looking around before going back to them. "I'm... Very sorry for dragging you both into my mess. I was just– I really wanted to avenge my brother, but I was too foolish to think that I'd be able to take Stain alone. I really hope this incident won't affect us in the future and that we can continue being friends?"
Shoto nodded his head in acknowledgement while Izuku gave him a reassuring smile. "Its alright, Iida! It was quite beneficial since we now know what it's like to fight a real villain!"
Tenya was taken aback by their reaction, he honestly did not expect this, so he just gave them a thankful smile and carried on.
Everything was finally over and they could now rest...
"EVERYONE GET DOWN!"
Until a flying Nomu came rushing in, grabbing Izuku by the shoulders and taking him high up into the air.
"MIDORIYA!"
Izuku hardly registered what just happened, until he was finally pulled back into reality when Endeavor tried to throw a fire ball at them, but was immediately stopped when Gran Torino told him off. Shoto and Tenya tried to do something by the looks of it as they instantly made a move forward, until the other pros stopped them 'cause it was too late.
He had already gone up into the clouds, the sight of Hosu coming into view with the bright fire lighting the midnight sky, though it wasn't really pleasing to look at for Izuku.
He struggled against the Nomu's hold, thrashing his arms around despite the other's protest, but that only resulted in him getting a deep cut on his left shoulder because of the talons. He hissed as blood leaked though his hero costume, soaking it wet.
He was still so tired... So exhausted with the fight with Stain... He couldn't do anything. He was helpless... Useless. Just like Kacchan would tell him; a useless, stupid deku that can't do anything right. And he was right with how helpless he is in his situation.
He whole body shivered when the cold, nightly air ran past him. His whole body was shaking, cold and filled with goosebumps. His stomach churned that it felt like he was gonna puke, something sticky and disgusting stuck in his throat as he tried to even out his shaky breath.
He was gonna die.
Wherever this Nomu is taking him, he was sure it would be at death's door. It's most likely that it came from the League, so if they found him in this monster's claws... They would most likely torture him until he gave them information, then kill him once he does.
He couldn't do that... He can't do that.
His mother is still waiting for him at home, probably wondering why he hasn't texted her yet about his day. She was probably worried sick. And when she finds out her son was taken by the League. Oh god... That would break her.
And then there's the part where he hasn't became a hero yet, he was still so young. Only 19 and in collage, learning in the most prestigious hero school in Japan, and yet this is where it gets him. To his death.
And Kacchan...
He still hasn't mended his relationship with him, he really wanted to. If he was gonna die he could have at least mended his relationship with the blonde, he's been trying for so long and yet it doesn't work out, the universe just won't accept it. Would the blonde be happy? Will he celebrate his death when news comes out? He's always wanted him dead anyway...
NO!
What is he thinking!? He shouldn't think like this! He should try and get away while he's at least about 40 ft into the air...
Just when Izuku was about to take a risk and use One For All again, a giant portal opened up in front of them and transported them somewhere.
WHAT THE!?
Bright light was the first that came into view and Izuku instinctively shut his eyes closed. Opening them once again and blinking rapidly, his eyes squinted when the he saw that they were flying above some trees, a lot of trees. He couldn't recognize anything  when he turned his head around and found mountains, a bunch of them. The smell of oak and fresh leaves was what he registered first when his body adjusted to the sudden change of place. The blood leaking out of his costume being forgotten for the moment as his viridian eyes sparkled in mesmerization at the beautiful view.
It was... Oddly peaceful here. If you forget about the fact that he was still in the Nomu's clutches.
But that too was instantly put to a stop when said Nomu screeched, it was horrible, like a nail scratching a chalk board. It almost made Izuku's ears bleed at the sound.
When he looked up, he found an arrow right on the wing of the Nomu.
Well shit.
Just as Izuku predicted, the Nomu started gliding down into the trees. He screamed in utter fear and horror as the wind slapped his face harshly, it was like that time he met All Might, but they were going down instead of up.
His screams came to an abrupt stop when his face hit the bunch of leaves, hearing the sickening cracks of what sounded like came from the Nomu since he didn't feel any of his bones breaking.
"ACK!"
Izuku's shoulders were let go and he landed on the ground harshly, and just his luck, he landed on his left side, where his shoulder was already injured and so was his cut ankle, not to mention the sore right arm he used to punch Stain, it was a miracle that it didn't break during the time.
He coughed violently as he used his right arm to get himself up, he saw a tree nearby and moved to sit on it. He leaned on the tree with a sigh and closed his eyes, a groan escaping his lips when he finally felt his adrenaline dissipate and the pain of his whole body come to. He was panting heavily and clutching onto his left shoulder to stop the bleeding, but it only seeped through further.
The sound of rustling leaves made him flinch violently and snap his eyes open, he scrambled and moved his feet to his chest as he stared at the endless trees that filled his vision. The rustling and crunching of grass and sticks getting closer to where he was. His breathing became hectic and his heart started beating at an alarming rate, the sound increasing more and more.
He looked forwards and his breath hitched at the sight before him.
There, his childhood friend stood, but he looked... Different... Somewhat older and mature. He didn't wear any shirt, which showed off his impressive abs and pecs, but he did wear some greyish blue pants with kneepads and a belt; some grey furred boots; and a red furred cape draped over his shoulders. And... Are those earrings he's wearing? And a necklace made out of teeth!?
He didn't notice that he'd been checking out the blonde in front of him until he suddenly started moving forward, making him flinch again. That seemed to slower the other down, but continued on his walk nonetheless but with a cautious look in his crimson irises.
He crouched down in front of him which made Izuku lean further back into the tree, put his head slightly downcast, and close his eyes instinctively, as if expecting a hit from the other male.
But it never came.
Instead, a calloused hand gently cupped his chin to look up at the blonde, making Izuku open his eyes slowly and meet the other's gaze.
There was silence for a moment...
Izuku didn't know how long they'd been sitting there, looking at each other, but he noticed that the longer he looked at Kacchan's (or was this Kacchan?) Eyes, the more captivated he felt. Those sharp eyes and crimson irises, it was akin to a valuable gemstone the longer you stared. There was a tugging feeling inside him for some reason, something that felt so... Familiar.
"Are you alright?" Katsuki's deep, husky voice cut off the greenette from his trance, making him blink. Why did he sound so... Calm? It was unusual to say the least.
"U-um, not... E-exactly." He replied timidly, clutching his hand on his shoulder that somewhat stopped bleeding, for now. Katsuki seemed to have finally noticed and moved his attention to his shoulder, he swore he saw concern flash in those crimson irises, but it was gone as fast as he saw it.
The blonde's hand removed from Izuku's chin then to his shoulder, the greenette flinched again for the umpteenth time when Katsuki removed his hand and took a look at the injury.
Weird...
"Hey, Bakugou!" A familiar voice called out, making Izuku turn his eyes from Katsuki and to the redhead that was where the blonde came from.
Kirishima...
"Wow, you find him!" The redhead cheered, skipping towards them with a toothy grin. But he abruptly stopped when Katsuki growled– as in– he literally growled like a dog that their owner was taking their favorite toy away. Kirishima seemed surprise for a moment, blinking at the blonde who's back was still turned and then to Izuku. He was confused for a moment, until something seemed to click in his head as a he made an 'oh' sound, as if he understood why.
Did he?
"Let's take you back to the palace for treatment." Katsuki suddenly decided, taking the greenette into his arms without hesitation –ignoring his yelp– then turning to Kirishima, who smiled and nodded.
"W-wait a second! What are you talking about!?"
