“I’m so glad to be part of this family.” Carina whispered, still so close to Maya that the blonde felt her warm breath against her skin.
The firefighter didn’t lose time to get her hands on her wife’s hips. “Not more than me.” She replied, her lips curving into a grin as she brushed the tip of her nose against Carina’s.
Without thinking, Maya’s gaze drifted from Carina’s eyes to her lips and then lower, to the small space between their breasts. She bit her lower lip when she noticed, again, the faint outline of the dusky peaks on the doctor’s burnt orange shirt. The warm feeling in the pit of her stomach by the sweet moment they were sharing turned into a burning heat at the thought of Carina’s body.
When Maya’s blue eyes met Carina’s brown ones again, she noticed a hint of lust in them which, paired with the Italian’s smirk, let the blonde know that her wife was thinking the same thing she was.
