Summary
Merlin isn't allowed to attend a banquet with Arthur since he's not officially bonded with his alpha yet. (Uther won't allow it) What will Merlin do left up to his own devices for a whole evening? Nothing special aside from get attacked by a wayward guest looking for some fun. However, someone unexpected comes to his rescue, but that doesn't mean Merlin is out of trouble yet.

I know I've read this And I can see why I didn't save it but I do enjoy weirdly merlin and uther getting along to some degree even in the show like that one post they don't interact much but when they do it's cuz arthur is an idiot
