Law blinked from where he had been reading, he had heard someone enter his room, but suspected it might be Bepo to come and call him to dinner.
What he didn’t expect was for his bock to be put down and soft, very recognizable lips to be pressed against his own.
“Luffy-ya.”
The other captain grinned at him, “Usopp saw the submarine from afar so we made a little detour. I hope you don’t mind.”
Law shook his head, “Not at all, I didn’t expect to see you for a couple more weeks. Last I checked, I heard from Nami-ya that you were close to paradise, which is quite a bit away from here.”
Luffy grinned, “I wanted to get back to the New World as soon as our business in Paradise was concluded. Even more so with Ace’s birthday coming up, we’re on our way to meet with the Whitebeard Remnant because of that. Will you come too?”
Law nodded absentmindedly, pulling Luffy close again, “In a minute, after I get even on my missed kisses in the time we were apart.”
Luffy chuckled, but went with it, pressing his lips to Law’s without any protest.
