Summary
Prompto has been alone on the Lunar Station for so long that he's forgotten what it's like to have friends. One day his communications system mysteriously connects to a radio owned by Noctis. Through Noctis, Prompto learns about the world below and together they stumble onto secrets that were never meant to see the light of day.

Noctis fiddled with the knobs on the radio, shifting through channel after channel of white noise. It was ancient tech by today’s standards, but when he was little, he would spend hours flipping through frequencies and listening to people talk. Now, every frequency was silent. His means of escape diminished into static.
“I don’t know Aera, these readings aren’t making any sense.”
A voice. A clear voice came through the speakers and Noctis jolted upright.
“I’m checking, I’m checking! You’re a computer, you’d think you could check these things on your own.”
Noctis scrambled over to pick up the radio’s receiver. “Hello?”
There was no answer for a moment and then the voice responded. “He-hello?”
Noctis didn’t usually speak on the radio, but he hadn’t heard voices for months. “I’ve never heard you on the radio before.”
