Chapter Text
18th July 1881
Fiddleford,
It has been many years since we last parted. I hope that your family is in good health.
I am writing to you now to ask for your assistance. For the past few years, I’ve been researching in Oregon, in a small town named Gravity Falls. During this time, I’ve encountered many great and wondrous things. To disclose it all in this letter would be to write a novel.
I believe that I’ve made a breakthrough in my studies. I believe that I’ve found what could be the source of it all, but I must delve deeper. Finally, I believe that discovering this source could change the world.
I don’t want to travel this road alone. Will you join me?
Your sincere friend,
Stanford Pines.
