“ Thank you… ” Eileen says and signs after Dean opens the building's door for her. Ever since they found out she was expecting, not only had Sam become overly protective, but everyone else had as well. Dean is maybe the worst.
He can’t wait til next Christmas when his little niece or nephew will be here. His baby brother is going to be a dad! Him and Cas are going to be uncles; he fully plans on being the cool uncle of course. Jack will have a little cousin. It’s going to be awesome.
Today, Eileen was going out Christmas shopping, and since Sam was busy, Dean insisted on joining her.
“So, where to first?” He asks, trying to sound excited for the shopping spree, even though he despises shopping.
Four stores in, however, Dean seems to find a new love for shopping. He excitedly scrolls through the apps Eileen told him about finding deals. Their arms are loaded with bags, courtesy of their newly opened credit cards. They save the world, regularly, that makes up for it right?
“Ok, this is the last one.” Eileen says as she turns into Bath and Body Works.

“It smells like a candle store in here.” Sam laughs as he comes down the stairs. “What did you two do, wipe them out?” He looked around the war room. There are gift bags and boxes scattered across the floor. Dean was sitting cross legged in the middle of the mess.
“Hmmm…” Dean opens a candle and smells it. “Yeah, that screams Bobby.” He holds the candle up for his brother to smell. “Mahogany teakwood. Am I right?” Sam just smiles and looks around at the piles of candles. “Dude, the were on sale, plus you get an extra 25% at checkout. Everyone is getting a candle this year!”
“Gotta love a good deal.” Sam laughs. “Where’s Eileen?”
“She’s laying down. I told her I’d put everything away. She needs to be well rested when you go to find out the gender.” Sam stares at Dean, a goofy lopsided smile crossing his face. “What?”
“Nothing… just, thank you, for going with her.” He bows out and heads in the direction of his and Eileen's room.

By nightfall every room has its own candle, lit and mingling scents throughout the bunker.
Cas pulls the covers back and climbs into their bed. A bowl of popcorn and two beers in hand. Dean is lighting his favorite find from the store, Flannel, and sets it on their dresser, before turning out the light and joining Cas.
The Angel wraps an arm around Dean’s shoulder as he settles into the memory foam, getting comfy. “Did you have a good time out with Jack?” Dean mumbles against Cas’ neck.
“I did, and he spent the whole time making it very clear he wants an Xbox for Christmas.”
Dean laughs, and snuggles further into the warmth of Cas’ embrace. Cas reaches for the remote and turns the TV on, scrolling until he gets to the Hallmark channel. A Christmas Crossroads is coming up next.
Cas turns to press a kiss to Dean’s forehead, but the hunter looks up and catches Cas’ lips with his own. He might never admit it out loud, but he will never get tired of the little moments like these.
