Summary
Deck the halls with boughs of holly… Falalalala… Lalalala.
“What the fuuuu…” Dean groans, as he is pulled out of the awesome dream he was having. First he notices the empty space beside him, and pouts. Then he peaks over at the alarm clock. 8:00am. “Seriously!?”
Tis the season to be jolly… Falalalala… Lalalala…
He flips onto his stomach and pulls his pillow over his head, trying to block out the much too cheerful for this time of morning music. Squeezing his eyes closed, he urges his brain to go back to sleep.
Don we now our gay apparel… Falala… Lalala…
“La la la.” Jack sings out with accompanying knocks to Dean’s door, before easing it open.

Summary
Jack rubbed Miracle’s head once more and promised he would be right back, then ran over to the torn up plant. Shredded red flowers were all over the floor. He looked to the dog when he sat up and began gagging, then back at the plant. What did Eileen call them? He pulled out his phone, but he had forgotten to charge it and it had died. Glancing at the half eaten tag he pieced together the letters. “Poi… Pois… oh no!” He gasped, as Miracle continued whimpering and heaving. “Poisonsettas! They are poisonous!”

“Hmmm…” Dean opens a candle and smells it. “Yeah, that screams Bobby.” He holds the candle up for his brother to smell. “Mahogany teakwood. Am I right?” Sam just smiles and looks at all the gifts. “Dude, all the candles were on sale, plus you get an extra 25% at checkout. Everyone is getting a candle this year!”
“Gotta love a good deal.” Sam laughs.

Summary
“One picture, Sammy. That’s all I’m asking. One good family picture.”
Dean’s eyes were almost pleading, and Sam felt guilty. He sighed and swung his arms out at his sides, letting them flap back down against his legs. “Just tell me where you want me.”
“There’s nowhere you can go but the back, you giant.” Dean smirked, sending his attention back to figuring out the camera timer.

Jack’s face brightened and he held up his phone, revealing the website for a local Christmas light show. “100 acres of Christmas lights! And, look…” he pointed to the article picture “the trees dance to Christmas music! Can we go?”
Dean and Cas looked at each other and smiled. “Of course.” Cas said and Jack excitedly hugged them both.

Summary
Jack gently dropped the ball into the milk and watched. Instantly the milk began turning brown as the ball melted. “Oh, wow!” Jack beamed as little festive shaped marshmallows began floating to the top. He looked up and smiled at Dean, then took a sip.
Dean sat back pleased with himself, and Cas wrapped an arm around him. The Angel pressed a kiss into Dean's temple and whispered, “you’re really making this season special for him, thank you.”
“He deserves it.” Dean replied. “We all do.”

Summary
Sam and Dean ran back up to the door like two giant kids, all smiles and giggles and just overall high spirits. “Man, I can’t believe he made it snow!” Dean laughed, excitedly, as he took his first step into the cold fluff. “When’s the last time we got to play in snow?!”
Sam watched Dean reach down and pick up a handful, and clump it into a ball. “Never.” He laughed, then scowled as Dean turned and launched the snowball at him. “Seriously?”
Dean grinned and shrugged, wiping his hands on his pants before the snow could soak through his rarely used mittens. “How did you not see that coming?”

He grabbed the dirty clothes and the second he touched the metal of the belt he was shocked.
Dean stopped and looked at his hand, his lips twitching and curling into a grin. Then he got an idea. An awful idea. Dean got a wonderful awful idea.

“Thought I was done for. Thought that love had died. But you came along, I swear you saved my life.” Dean continued as he settled against Cas’ body, the Angel gently rubbing his back. “And I wanna thank you baby. Cause you make it feel like Christmas.” He smiled, almost asleep. “I love you, Cas.”

Card stock, and crayons, and markers, and glue sticks… and glitter, spread in all directions around him. Cas said not to use the sparkly stripper dust, as Dean called it, because it was impossible to clean up. Jack wasn’t sure how he knew that, but it wasn’t important. He just had to be extra careful.

“My apologies.” Cas smiled and crossed the room to sit on the bed with Dean. He took one of Dean’s hands and lifted it to his lips. “You know you don’t have to buy me anything. Especially not if it is going to upset you. And besides…” Dean sighed and rolled his eyes, knowing what was coming. “…I have all I could ever want already.”

Summary
Dean sighed. Dammit! Everyone had been looking forward to this ride. Mostly because he had hyped it up all morning, afternoon and the whole evening leading up to their arrival. But, wrangling five people and a dog out and adding traffic caused them to run late; a whole five minutes… perfect.

Summary
After Jack disappeared into his room Sam slipped back into his own. Sitting down at the desk he lifted the pen with more confidence and scribbled the simple yet deeply meaningful note onto the tag. He placed the fuzzy black and white ultrasound picture on top of the bed of shredded paper, and put the lid on. Then he attached a box and finally the tag.

The woman eyed him for a moment, seemingly deep in thought. “Well… These are $15.” She said finally, motioning towards the pie tree. Dean didn’t even hesitate grabbing his wallet. “But…” she continued, causing Dean to pause and stare at her confused. The woman watched as Jack joined Dean at the table, wide eyed and grinning, with his bags full of goodies. “I think you would much rather have one of these.”

“I ought to say no, no, no sir…” Dean sang, eyeing Cas to follow, but the angel simply tilted his head. “At least I’m gonna say that I tried.” Cas squinted, and Dean swatted his arm, nodding towards the door. “I really can’t stay.”
“Baby don’t hold out.” Cas added, with a humored grin, now understanding.
“Baby it’s cold outside.” They sang together.

Summary
Dean was seated at one table bobbing his head and humming to Wonderful Christmastime, as he ran the sliced up shirts through the machine. “You can sew?” Cas asked, confused if not a little humored as well.
A slight blush crept up Dean’s neck. “Well someone had to learn. Not like we just got new clothes every time we got a hole in something.” He looked away from Cas’ now empathetic eyes, snipping the thread and holding up the first stocking patched together from the shrunken flannels.

Summary
Cas again took Dean’s hand and led him to a secluded area of the park, out of sight from the other people. “Cas, what are you…?” Then in the blink of an eye they were no longer at the ice rink, but at the lake from their sleigh ride, only now it was completely frozen over. Freshly fallen snow rested upon the ground around them. “Oh…” Dean whispered, noticing a blanket nearby with a thermos, a couple mugs, and two Santa hats waiting for them.

Summary
Temporarily dyed white hair. A white beard, that was way shorter than it should be, but the girls said they needed to put down the base, and would make it longer later; and who was he to argue with SFX pros, as they called themselves. He even had a set of steel blue contacts, since Claire and Kaia both insisted that Santa didn’t have green eyes. He truly didn’t look like himself at all. Perfect!
