Shocked

Summary:

He grabbed the dirty clothes and the second he touched the metal of the belt he was shocked.

Dean stopped and looked at his hand, his lips twitching and curling into a grin. Then he got an idea. An awful idea. Dean got a wonderful awful idea.

Work Text:

“First the sweaters, now this?!” Dean sighed quietly to Cas as they watched Jack pull out a set of matching grinch PJs for each of them. He handed each person theirs until he got to Dean. The hunter held out his hands and looked confused when the fuzzy green onesie was laid in them. He narrowed his eyes, and held up the suit, choosing for now to ignore the stifled laughs around him.

He grumbled as he slipped it on, but he had to admit, it was really warm. He zipped up the front and ran his hands over the fur; it was soft too. It came with a pair of green equally fuzzy socks, and he, like the child he was inside, used them to slide across the floor of his room as he grabbed his clothes to toss in the laundry bin. He grabbed the dirty clothes and the second he touched the metal of the belt he was shocked.

Dean stopped and looked at his hand, his lips twitching and curling into a grin. Then he got an idea. An awful idea. Dean got a wonderful awful idea.

Shuffling his feet toward his door, he first got Jack, as the young man opened it to see how he looked. Just a small little zap, it shocked (literally) Jack and sent Dean into a fit of giggles as he shuffled past, into the hall. Next was Eileen, she was sitting by the fireplace scrolling through her phone and he got her on the back of the neck.

Seriously!” She hissed and sighed.

“Hehehe…” Dean laughed as he continued his slow pace to find his next victim. Sam was in the library looking through lore. Nerd. He thought as he quietly slid up to him.

Zzzap!

“Ouch. Gah, Dean. You friggin jerk!” Sam said turning and slapping a hand to the cheek Dean had poked with his static filled finger. He watched Dean wheeze and laughed, almost to tears. “You're such a child.” Sam said with an eye roll. It was quickly replaced by a smirk as Dean took off again looking for Cas.

He went through the library. Into the kitchen. Down the hall. Past their room. Back out to the war room and that’s when he heard Cas on the other side of the tree. He silently slid around, hand ready, and… Boop! Right on the tip of the nose. The extra surge of electricity flowed from Dean into Cas. And all the lights in the bunker blew out.

Everyone sat circled around the candle lit table. Jack could have easily snapped and fixed the bunker, but they instead decided to use the power outage to spend the rest of their night playing board games.

Dean looked over at Cas and dipped his head, still slightly embarrassed for the fiasco his childish antics caused, and the Angel scooted his chair closer. He leaned in for a quick kiss, getting a small zap instead.
