Chapter Text
Tommy slowly walked into the school hall.
Despite the loud chatting and clattering of feet on the ground Tommy still felt his footsteps where uncomfortably loud as his feet rhythmically hit the not-very-shiny tiled floor.
He saw Tubbo glare at him as he passed Tubbo and Ranboo's lockers. Set right next to each other. So fucking lucky huh? Tubbo was probably expecting him to complete his daily routine of insulting Ranboo and then Tubbo would stand up for him- blah blah blah, and they fight and shit until they have to go to class.
But Tommy just wasn't feeling like it today. Yesterday dad was home and of course, that meant fighting. He could hear Wilbur and Phil arguing till about 2:20 till they finally shut up. Tommy hated it, he hated not being able to sleep, he hated the constant yelling, he hated that people he cared about (no matter how much he wanted to hate them.) where fighting.
Tubbo stopped Tommy from walking any further.
"Oh, what? Don't feel like being a fucking ass today?" Tommy raised an eyebrow, was that the worst he could come up with?
"Nope." Tommy replied lamely.
"What the fuck is wrong with you, you can't just decide that you don't want to argue one day and then decide 'nope' on another!" Tubbo hissed at his ex-friend.
"Hm, no I can't can I? Except, oh fucky-wucky, I can. Besides, why do you give a fuck anyway. What? Do you want me to bully Ranboo?" Tommy replied. He was too tired for this. But he wasn't going to show that. Nope. No way.
"So you admit you're a bully!?"
"I never denied it. It's just a stupid title anyway. This isn't some dumb sit-com or whatever, roles don't matter." Tommy argued. Except that wasn't true. Tommy knew he was a bully and he hated it. Why did the universe choose to make him the villain in all of this? Why him? Haha, this reminded him of his brother. Technoblade would probably say some deep philosophical shit or something. Tommy hadn't talked to his brother in a few months, he misses Techno. "You didn't answer my previous question."
"No! But you can't control everything you prick-"
"Hey Tubbo man?" Ranboo butts in, "Maybe we should just leave-"
"No Ranboo! I'm sick of letting you get pushed around by that asshole." Tubbo turned to face Tommy again. "You know what? Next time you try to fucking... I don't know, torment us I'm going to fucking break your nose." Tubbo threatened. He looked downright pissed.
"Hm. Yep, sure." Tommy knew Tubbo was physically stronger then him and he should probably take the threat more seriously but Tommy was tired and just wanted to get the day over with. He didn't really feel like bothering with worrying about breaking his nose. That was probably the least of his concerns right now.
Tommy turned around to start walking to his class.
"Hey!" Tommy heard Tubbo yell from behind him. He stopped walking. "I fucking hate you, you know that?" Tommy knew that. Didn't effect him really "I wish I'd never befriended you." But that sentence... hurt more then it should have. Yes, they where pretty much enemies now but... Tommy hoped their friendship still meant something to Tubbo while it did last.
"K." Tommy said and walked off. What was he supposed to do? Just say, 'oh, wait that actually hurt my feeling can you just NOT say that.' Usually he'd be allot more impulsive in these arguments. But Tommy didn't feel like yelling. He didn't feel like being loud and annoying for the past few weeks. He just felt like laying down and sleeping. Sleeping forever even if possible... Wasn't that an expression people use to say die..? Did Tommy want to die? He shook his head. Dying would be way too painful. Tommy just wanted to stay numb.

Tommy hated school. He hated every aspect of it. He hated the shitty cafeteria food. He hated that wherever you went you could always feel a few pair of eyes judging you, except for the toilets that smelt of urine and vape. He hated that no one had any free will in school. He hated the fact that the teachers yell at you more then do actually teaching. He hated his shitty locker that always got jammed. He hated that the teachers always asked him to ask his parents for help when he couldn't complete his homework despite that his mother was dead and father was barely ever in the house. He hated that it was so obvious that he had problems but no one ever cared enough to do shit about it.
Tommy pushed open the door and walked into his house.
"Wilbur!?!?"
Tommy heard a shout from upstairs. "What the fuck do you want child!?"
Tommy ignored the fact that his brothers words seemed slightly slurred. Tommy ended to ignore allot of thing these days, the way Wilbur would stumble, the redness of Wilbur's eyes, Purpled's texts, Tubbo's glares.
Tommy doesn't think Wilbur's been getting enough sleep. If he slept he wouldn't constantly ignore Tommy. Tommy was sure he'd get better soon. It was probably just a little sad week, like Tommy was having! He was just having a little sad week... every week.
"Well, I thought you'd like to know that you are blessed with my amazing presence."
No response.
"Wilbur? Wilburrrrrrr?" Tommy whined.
"Oh fuck off." He heard Wilbur reply even more slurred then his previous sentence. Tommy frowned, he knew it was supposed to be a joke, because it had to, but...
Tommy shook his head and started walking towards the kitchen. Tommy took a single slice of plain bread out of the cupboard and shoved it into his mouth.
Now... what could Tommy do...? Homework? Nah.
Tommy sat down on the couch and turned on the TV.
'Drug rates have been rapidly been increasing in Britain, the police has announced that the increases have mostly been spiking in the usage of carulumes, or as more people might know it, blue.'
Well, that was just depressing. Tommy flicked to Disney channel. Ah yes, a show about talking frogs.
Tommy always liked children movies, they always brought back an odd sense of nostalgia, nothing stressful. Nothing bad. Just nice and peacef- oh. Marcy just got stabbed through the chest.
Tommy stared at the screen, before groaning loudly. Couldn't Tommy just have one moment of peace!?And wasn't this supposed to be a wholesome kids show about talking frogs and found family!?
Tommy stood up, whatever. He didn't need kid-shows anyways.
Tommy picked up his phone and looked through his notifications... Tubbo had blocked him. Whatever. He was surprised Tubbo didn't block him earlier. They barely ever interacted online anymore anyway.
Tommy felt tears building up in his eyes. Shit... but something about the fact that Tubbo blocked him... seemed to make the end of this friendship official. What was he making such a big deal over something so small? Well... it wasn't small. But Tommy wouldn't call it big either. Tommy didn’t even know what this was anymore.
So today was... a pretty average day. Tommy cried himself to sleep that night.
