This was ridiculous. When he was younger, he would spend his Halloweens cleaning up his ma’s vomit and dodging Willis’ hits. When he got older, he spent them curled up in dumpsters, praying his wasn’t the one someone threw a Molotov cocktail in. Now, he was living it up in a cushy mansion. He had been through so much worse shit. So why was he acting like a baby just because Bruce couldn’t spend one night with him?
This was stupid. He was stupid.
Jason is really excited to spend Halloween with Bruce, until he finds out he'll be spending it alone.

Now, when Talia interrupted their stream of kisses, Jason had that same expression. It wasn’t Pit-fuelled. His eyes were still the same, stable seafoam. But they were glassy, staring at her like he was seeing right through her. Talia furrowed her brows, stroking his face for a moment. He didn’t flinch, he didn’t show any signs of responsiveness. His hands on her had stilled, obviously recognising that she had stopped. Following her movements. He was purely dissociated, working entirely on instinct. Except this time, there was no car crash. No brain damage, no assailants.
Just him, Talia, and a mattress.
Talia crosses a line. She stops herself, but she cannot shake the guilt.

He can hear the click as Joker stops the camera recording him. He can hear the sharp tapping of Joker’s dress shoes as he heads towards the door. Jason stares at the specks of blood on the floor, waiting for the telltale heave of the opening door. Instead, he hears something jam. Joker makes a confused noise, and tries pulling the door again. It won’t budge.
Jason looks up to see Joker staring at the door like it’s personally wronged him. He pulls again, futilely. He pauses. Pulls again. Tries pushing. It still won’t open. Jason flinches back at the loud bang of Joker’s slamming an open fist into the door.
“Now that’s not funny.”

Joker accidentally locks himself in. Jason takes the opportunity while he still can.

Summary
He feels The Joker touch his hair gently. And then The Batman’s in front of him.
It looks like there’s two of him, but it’s probably just drug-induced double vision. His dad’s here. Better late than never. Somehow, Jason manages to cumulate a pinch of shame at Batman seeing him like this. Weak, hurt, and drugged up. He pushes it down to focus on the fact that his dad was here, that he was being saved. Jason feels the slightest glimmer of hope before his head whips back with the weight of a heavy punch.

Jason is trapped in Arkham. Is it really too much to ask for his dad to save him? The fear toxin rushing in his veins tells him that yes, it really is.

Dick didn't particularly care about his presence at first, until it became evident the Batman was becoming a nuisance. It's not like the guy was evil, no, Dick's problem with him is the fact that more and more people are getting hurt as casualties of whatever war the Batman's waged with Gotham's rogues.
