Summary
A doctor gets conscripted for medical duty at the ragged edges of a failing colonial war. Near the front lines he meets an imprisoned ex-guerilla fighting for survival in his army's labour camp. As the seasons turn their fates reverse and they forge an uneasy truce. But will the trauma of their past keep them from finding lasting peace?
