Her heart was pounding in her chest. Her mouth was dry.
Isabella was standing under the mistletoe with Phineas.
She couldn't have planned this better if she'd tried.
Phineas stared at it. "I don't--I don't remember putting that there."
If the slight flicker of amusement on Ferb's face was anything to go by, Phineas hadn't. He leaned over, whispering something into Phineas' ear. Pulling back, he winked at her.
"Oh." There was a small confused furrow in Phineas' brow as he moved his gaze from the plant to her. He reached out.
Oh, gosh, she was actually going to be kissed by Phineas! She clamped down on her excitement. Or tried to.
His hands wrapped around her and--don't screech--he was dipping her.
Her eyes closed, her lips puckering.
Lips delicately met her cheek.
What.
Isabella's eyes popped open as he levered her back onto her feet. "What. Was. That?" He'd do that kinda kiss without mistletoe.
"A kiss?" He shrugged. "I dunno. Ferb said I should dip you for some reason."
She switched a glare onto Ferb. Useless, as he had his face buried in his hands as he gently shook his head behind his brother's back.
