Notes: Just as he referenced in the first episode, Raph really does speak a lot in third person, which is why I even tallied his total self-reference amount in the first place. He actually refers to himself more than he refers to Mikey. He refers to Leo and Donnie a lot, but that is not necessarily a good thing, as oftentimes it was to reprimand them or to tell them what to do. In fact, if I remember correctly he actually very rarely had to guide Mikey on what to do, Mikey just kind of did his own thing during battle. It's weird to think about since Raph is so protective of him and had a whole episode about trusting Mikey to take care of himself, but he seems to at least subconsciously trust Mikey to do what he needs to do, while he doesn't always expect the same from Leo and Donnie. That could also just be about the nature of Mikey's fighting role within the group though. Also, out of all the brothers, Raph refers to Splinter the the most.

Notes: Leo refers to Raph the most (almost 100 times). While all the brothers refer to Raph the most because of his position as leader, this is more than any other brother refers to another. This might be a reflection of both their conflicting personalities and also their shared roles as older brothers and planners of the group. While Leo has a lot of nicknames for his brothers, he mostly uses nicknames for people outside of the family. The nicknames he does give to his bros are mostly common slang, with a few playful exceptions here or there. While all Leo's relationships are platonic or antagonistic, his nicknames border on flirtatious in nature. He also uses a lot of nicknames for Señor Hueso, which is likely a reflection of their friendship.

Notes: While Donnie does not refer to himself as much as Raph refers to himself, Donnie does give himself much more nicknames. He's also a big fan of cover names. The nicknames he uses for his brothers are often an odd combination of condescending, mocking, and affectionate, and he therefore normally uses nicknames for the family instead of people outside of the family. He's the only brother to not refer to Mikey the least, however, he uses "Mikey" less than "Leo." This is because he uses a lot of nicknames for Mikey. While all the brothers generally use nicknames for each other, Mikey and Donnie use consistent nicknames the most for each other, such as Donnie calling Mikey "Angelo" or "Michael" and Mikey calling Donnie "Dee" or "Donald." In that way, their nicknames almost match each other, which I like to believe is a reflection of their bond. He also loves using exaggerated "nerdy" or sarcastically "polite" nicknames, such as using terms like "brethren" or "gentleturtles." He also has fun accenting the last 'a' in nicknames where it suits.

Notes: Mikey refers to himself as "Doctor [insert term here]," which we already knew, but it's nice to point out. He also has very interesting specific nicknames. For example, he calls himself "OneLove." While the others had more obvious correlated nicknames, Mikey's is more vague, and it makes me wonder the source of the nickname. He also uses the nickname "Champ" for Leo, which is significant because Leo has expressed wanting to be referred to as a champ in the past. Surprisingly enough, he refers to Splinter the least out of his brothers, and when he does he actually refers to Splinter as "Splinter" almost as much as he refers to him as "Dad," which is quite a different trend than the others. But that might be a reflection of their reltionship: While Splinter serves as a guiding figure for Raph, Leo, and Donnie, Mikey serves as a guiding figure for Splinter. And though this is obvious, Mikey also has the most nicknames for Draxum and is the only brother with positive nicknames for Draxum. He also generally likes using the term "baby," both as a nickname and to refer to the group as a whole. Finally, the nickname "Chico" is mostly reserved for Repomantis, and is very rarely used for other characters, which I think is interesting.
