“Ready Buck?”
“Yes”
“Alright”, Steve nodded, “Energize!”
A nod from the operator, then the away team disappeared from the transporting room of the ship and reappeared on the ground hundreds of kilometres below.
Bucky looked around, mouth agape. The sight was breathtaking: the ground was red, water running between the red and brown trees and the sky above them was devoid of clouds. He turned his head towards his partner and caught his eye. Steve looked as astonished as him.
Their group admired the scenery for a short moment, before Steve reminded them they had work to do. Right, this wasn’t Risa and they weren’t here for tourism. Besides, they should know better than to let their guard down in front of a beautiful landscape.
