Summary
Dean glanced over as Sam shifted in his seat for the fifth time in as many minutes, frowning a bit.
“Dude,” he said. “What’s up with you? Ants in the pants?” he teased lightly.
Sam grunted, lips turning downwards as he shifted again like he couldn’t get comfortable.
“That diner food isn’t sitting right,” he muttered, keeping his gaze locked carefully out the window. Dean tensed immediately, worry for his brother and his baby warring inside him.
“You gonna puke?” he asked, trying to keep his voice even. Sam shifted again, letting out a small huff of air through his nose.
“Not… right now,” he said after a moment, still staring out the window.
“That’s not comforting,” Dean said, reaching under his seat and producing a plastic bag after a few seconds.

Or, Sam gets food poisoning on the road and Dean's world screeches to a halt until he can make sure his brother's feeling better again.

Summary

As he starts to settle into civilian life, his friends help, including setting him up with the perfect match - firefighter James! The two men talk and text, as duty calls and combined with the end of year business, it's hard to get a date scheduled. James sounds like quite the catch, but Steve won't know if he looks like a catch too as they don't discuss swapping pictures. But Steve also starts to have run-ins with this other guy, Bucky, who's always so grumpy when Steve interacts with him...though Steve starts to see a new side to Bucky, from a distance, and, well, the guy might not be that bad. Steve never mentions Bucky to anyone, so he has no reason to think that they may just be one and the same...
