Work Text:

Omega didn't mean to wander off again. She just wanted to find the tooka that was wandering around the ship yard. The animal was so cute and small. She thought that if she caught it and brought it back to the ship Hunter might let it stay. Especially if she got Wrecker on board. She didn't mean to get lost. And the people who offered to help her find her brothers seemed nice kinda like Miss Fennec. But she was wrong these people weren't nice like Miss Fennec.

She was cold, the cell the people put her in was freezing and the vent made it worse. And her com was broke too. One of the who grabbed her smashed it so she couldn't call Hunter or Echo or Tech for help. She was scared, cold, hungry, and tired. And the spaceberry smell wasn't help the tired feeling. Her captors hadn't even given her a blanket to keep warm.

She curling into a ball by the back of the cell as she lost the battle with sleep. Hopefully when she woke up her brother's would be there.

Boba searched through the ship trying to find the bounty the idiots he took down were talking about. A rookie mistake to talk of a bounty with a hefty reward in public then not check for tails on your way back to your ship. Lucky for him they were rookies and drunk. It was easy to overpower the two men and grab the prize. The tall one said it was kept in the furthest cell from the pit, they even graciously left the keycard on the dashboard. Too easy.

He found the cell easily and inside was a small child, a girl by the looks of it. The girl had pale blond hair with brown roots and tan skin that's drained of color. She's also wearing matching dull red and gray tunic and pants with the Kaminoan symbol on the arm. She was a clone! She couldn't be older than nine or ten. Unless she had accelerated aging. But blond, female clone, age nine or ten. It couldn't be. Was it Arla? His sister? He thought she was dead, killed by the Kaminoans for being a girl. It couldn't be her. But it had to be. Fennec was right.

He slams the keycard in the slot and rushes inside. The girl was freezing to the touch and bruised all over. She had a cut on her upper arm and a bump on the back of her head, likely from where she was knocked out. He nearly snarled, she was hurt. His vod'ika was hurt. He checked her pulse and breathing, both were slow. He gently brushed her head until she stirred. Her eyes opened gently, they were his warm gold. Her voice was heavy with sleep and pain when she spoke, "Bo?"

He let out a relived laugh, that might have been a sob. Her accent was to recognizable, just like his and their buir's. It was Arla. He found his sister. He nodded - though she likely couldn't gage the movement - and smiled, "It's me Arla. I promise it's me. It's Boba. I'm right here Blondie, it's me." Arla smiled at him sleepily, likely too weak to do much more. He couldn't do anything for her here but he could on their ship.

"Go to sleep Arla. I'm here. I'll take care of you." he said. Arla recognized she was safe and dozed back off. He pick her up and cradled her on his side like buir would do when they were little. She happily signed in her sleep and he walked open of the cell, then the ship and carried her to the Slave 1.

Hunter was worried sick. Omega was told to stay in the ship. And he thought she did but when they got back she was gone. They searched the entire plot and no sign of her. Nor was she responding to her com. Everyone was frantic, except for Tech. Who rather than pace sat still in his seat and fidget. He paced the entire length of the gallery worried out of his mind for his little sister. The whole crew was.

"Why aren't we looking for her?!" Wrecker protested, angrily stomping back and forth. Hunter agreed, he wanted to go and find her as well but that wasn't the right plan. "Calm down Wrecker. Omega's fine. She's a tough one." Echo stated, though the cyborg looked to be half a step away from punching someone or something.

Tech finally looked up from his work, "Wreck calm down. Will find her. As we speak in working on activating Omega's com to find her location." he said, "It seems her com is damaged but the tracking unit I placed is still working as soon as I get a reading, we can find her."

Echo looked over at their brother suspiciously, "You put a tracker on her?" Tech nodded seriously, "With Omega's tendency to wander I thought it to be wise. And I was right." he finished off before turning back to his work.

"How long until it's running Tech?" he asked. Tech thought for a moment. "An hour or two, no less."

He nods and takes Wrecker of of the cockpit before he can protest any further.

Omega slowly woke up, expecting to still be in the cold metal cell. Instead she was mostly warm, minus the cool wet patch on her head. She was in a plush bed with the blankets tucked around her protectively. Like how her brothers would tuck her in on bad nights. She felt safe despite not knowing where she was.

"You're awake." A voice similar to her own said. She glanced over at a figure in mandalorian armor stood at the door. Her rescuer.

"Thank you for saving me." she said not sure what else to say. The figure laughed and removed their helmet. A face, an identical copy of her's but older stared back at her. They were a clone. Her savior was her brother. It was Alpha, it was Boba. Her brother!

She jumped from the bed and ran straight to him, wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug. He let out a breathless chuckle and hugged back, "Hey blondie. I've missed you too." She smiled, he remember. Brownie and Blondie. Buir's old nicknames for them. "I've missed you so much. They said buir gave me away, he didn't want me any more. I never believed it. I always knew you would come back!" she said, nearly crying. Boba bent down to her level, "Buir always wanted you. The Kaminoans did something to him and then you disappeared. After that he was different. Always keeping me away from the others and stopping us from looking for you. He loved you Arla." he promised before taking her back to a hug. They finally had each other and Boba was never letting her go again.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tech finally found a signal. "She's on Tatooine." he exclaimed. Everyone rushed to get to her, not questioning why or how she was all the way out there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Arla strap in! We have a tail!" Boba screamed. Arla did as told as Boba tried to lose the hunters. But it was clear as they neared the sands of Tatooine, these people really wanted his sister. He glanced at his vod'ika before they crashed into a dune and everything went dark.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hunter finally found the ship Omega was in. It had crashed outside one of Tatooine's major cities. The ship was in back shape, roughed up and was likely to never fly again. But it had Omega and hopefully she was okay.
The squad entered the ship. It was just as banged up on the inside as it was on the outside, clear who ever shot it down wanted the people inside dead, and hopefully Omega wasn't one of them. Everyone armed themselves as they made their way to the cockpit.
Red alarms flashed without sound adding to the eerie silence. Muffled crying sounded from the cockpit and it sounded like Omega. Hunter ran forward and kicked open the door. Inside was Omega and another person. Omega was mostly unharmed but the other wasn't as lucky.
Omega saw them enter and rushed forward into his arms, sobbing drastically. "It's okay 'Meg we're here now. We'll get you out of here." Hunter assured but Omega shook her head, pointing back to the other child, sobbing incoherently and trying to say something. Tech moved over to the unconscious person while Echo and him tried to decode what the girl was saying when Tech gasped.
"Tech what is it?" Hunter asked worried. "This is another clone. More accurately Alpha, better know as Boba Fett." Tech replied. Hunter was furious, why would another clone want to hurt their vod, even if it was Boba Fett. That traitor.
"Omega is he the one who took you? Did he hurt you?" He asked. Omega shook her head and sobbed harder.
"No he saved me. Hunter we have to help him. Please! He's our brother. He saved me. Please he's hurt! We have to help him!" she sobbed. Hunter looked passed her at Tech to looked at him with suspicion, then he looked back at Omega, who despite her sobbing looked up at him pleadingy, begging him to help their brother.
"Wrecker grab the boy, I'll get 'Meg. Then we need to get out of here before the people chasing them come back." he order, they might not be soldiers anymore but he was still in charge. Wrecker, Tech, and Echo looked at him with skepticism. "Now." he commanded. Wrecker did as followed and pick Fett up as he carried Omega. Then they hurried out of the ship.
After Boba was patched up by Tech and himself they left him on Crosshair's old bed. Omega insisted on stayed with him and curled up and the edge, falling asleep soon after. Hunter returned to the cockpit everyone sat in silence, partly do to relief that Omega was safe and partly do to confusion about Boba Fett and what they should do about him. Hunter made his way to the pilot's seat and sat down. He cracked open a bottle of whiskey and took a swig. It seems they had to cadets on board now.
