Today is the day where Eula went home from her mission in liyue. And Amber can't wait anymore to see her best friend so right now Amber decides to do her routine patrol near Liyue and Mondo's border in hope that she can run into her. when she gets near Dawn Winery, Amber sees Reckless Pallad that got attacked by a pyro slime so Amber tries her best to defeat that slime but before Amber can attack them, she hears a battle voice near her and she knows who owns that voice. Because of worry about her friend, Amber runs as fast as she can to that voice and forget about Reckless Pallad's existence.
Meanwhile, right now Eula is fighting treasure hoarders while she protects a girl with salmon pink hair that seems unconscious in a wagon. "Eye for an eye!" as Eula use her Elemental skill, almost all of the treasure hoarder near them is defeated. And when Eula wants to swing her claymore to the rest of them, someone shoots a fire arrow at them. seeing that, Eula ready her Elemental burst to defeat all of them. And when they realize it, it's already too late and Eula's lightfall sword is already exploded. After the battle, Eula hears Amber's voice that calls her name "Eulaaa!!". Seeing her friend that runs over her while waving her hand makes Eula smile a little but not long after that she uses her cool expression again and says "What are you doing here?". And the bunny said "I'm doing my daily patrol as number one outrider in Mondo" with her biggest smile. "Hmm...If you say so..." says Eula not convinced with her reasoning but accept it because she is still in the middle of a mission. And after explaining that she's still in the middle of a mission to escort her unconscious friend to curch (because she found the wagon nearer to Mondo than Liyue), Amber tag along and says that her patrol is already over and she can help her with her escort mission. Because she can't decline Amber suggestion, they go back to Mondo together.
Before they reach Mondo, Amber say "So what do you plan to do with them? I mean you can't bring the wagon inside because it's not ours and I don't think we can bring it to Favonius HQ because of how heavy it is" while seeing the wagon and the girl inside.
"Yes, I know about it. And I will carry her to the church and before that, I will stop by the Favonius HQ"
"You can rely on me you know! How about I will report it to the HQ and you bring her to the church?"
Seeing Amber using her puppy eyes makes Eula can't decline her over so she just said "vengeance will be mine. Remember this".
After their little discussion about the wagon and the girl, they go separately like what they said. But to be honest, seeing Eula princess carry the girl makes Amber's chest tighten a little. And without Amber realized it, she want to be carried like that too. But because positive thinking is the best part about her, she didn't think it for too long and just think that it can't be helped because that girl is injured and can't walk on her own.
After reporting the wagon to Jean, Amber hurriedly goes to church with their favorite food so they can have a little picnic. When she's in the room, she sees her friend stare at the girl with pink hair with an expression that's hard to explain. Seeing that makes Amber don't know what should she do so she just mutter a little "umm....". And lucky for her because hearing that Eula glance a little at her and say "Did you already report it to Jean?".
"Yeah, Jean said that she will inspect the wagon first and contact Liyue qixing later about the wagon and the girl".
"I see....".
After that the room is quiet and Amber didn't feel right about it so she brace herself to ask Eula to eat dinner with her. "Soo...How about we have our dinner first? You still haven't eaten yours right?"
"Yes. But I can't leave her alone. What if she wakes up when no one is here". Said Eula with a melancholy expression.
"Yeah, I think it will make me panic if I wake up in a place that I don't know...But you still must eat you know. It won't be good for your health. Besides, I have already brought some food from good hunter. Let's just eat outside. It won't take a long time. Please?"
They stare at each other for a pretty much long time and finally, Eula give up and said "okay you win. But I will tell barbara about her so when she woke up barbara can tell her on my behalf."
"Sure, I will wait for you outside".
Outside of the church, Amber sits at the bench and daydreams about what she wants from Eula. Every time she didn't see her for a long time she always feels restless like what if something bad happened to her or what if people in Mondo talked something bad to her face again. She just worries everything about Eula. Although she knows that Eula is far stronger than her but she just can't help it. She just can't see her friend make that sad expression like there isn't a word except for enemy in this teyvat. And today seeing Eula care so much about the pink hair girl make something inside Amber burn with jealousy although she knows that she isn't her girlfriend or something like that. She ever want to tell her feeling to Eula but she got scared at the last second so she doesn't know what should she do right now. After thinking that much, Amber can only sigh at her situation. 'Maybe she isn't meant to be something more than my friend...' think Amber pessimistic.
