Bucky Barnes wasn't sure what he was doing when he knocked on Sarah's front door. All he knew was that being near Sam felt right.

This was such a bad idea.
“Bucky?” said Sarah, looking from Bucky to his duffle curiously.
Bucky took a step away. Because he was being inappropriate, he was being absolutely inappropriate. He didn’t belong here. Sam had his own problems. He didn’t need Bucky doing this to him.
“Sorry. I just,” said Bucky, trying to remember why he thought this was a good idea, hearing noises from behind Sarah, AJ and Cass seeing the guest who thought he could overstay his welcome, Sam probably wondering why this man kept putting all his problems onto Sam, “I just… I felt like I belonged. Here. I don’t know. This was a mistake. I’m sorry to bother you and your family, Sarah, you have a good night – ”
“Hey, wait, no,” said Sam, stepping around Sarah, getting on the porch, grabbing Bucky’s wrist, “Don’t just come to my house, say ‘I felt like I belonged here,’ and decide on your own that you don’t. Don’t just disappear again.”
