“Welcome back, Darlin’,” the woman stepped out of the shadows. Jonathan tracked her movements, the memories of the night slowly coming back to him.

I told you I would reward you anyway, so before I drained you completely, I gave you my own blood so you would come back to me after you died. You willingly drank and…here we are, Doll.”
