After the first trial is completed, Monokuma wakes up the students abruptly to share the new motive sooner than he was supposed to.

Every day, a student will be infected by the disease until no one safe is left.
The students can either kill someone to get the cure or wait until the infected kill someone themselves.Makoto must now find a cure to the disease to avoid any new trials and executions, all while he watches his classmates fall one by one due to the motive.
