Scott curled around himself, he was cold but hot at the same time. He was sweating and his stomach ached like it had been ripped open. Scott was horribly sick. He didn’t know why, he barely even got sick but of course he was sick now.
He’d been sick from what seems like forever but it had probably been just a week. Though of course he’d missed a few meetings and hadn’t responded to any of the letters sent to him. Even if he wanted he couldn’t have responded to the letters.
He suddenly felt a stab of pain from his head and remembered his awful headache. Groaning in pain he shifted over and pulled the blanket over his head. Scott heard a loud sharp knock on his door, groaning he answered with a “What?”. He heard one of his advisors stick their head into the room and said with a deep rumbling voice, “Your Highness, the CodFather wishes to see you”. “Tell him to leave”, Scott grumbled back squeezing his eyes shut. “He keeps persisting your Highness”, the advisor says.
Sighing Scott flipped the covers away from his body and he sat up. “Let him in then”, Scott said, his advisor sending a concerned look but abiding by his orders. Rubbing his eyes Scott tried his best to look presentable.
After a few minutes Scott heard someone open the door, turning his head he saw the CodFather walking in and closing the door. After he closed the door Scott spoke, clearing his voice before he did, “What is it that you need Solidarity?”. Taking a deep breath Solidarity began to speak, “I just wanted to make sure you were okay, you didn’t come to any of the meetings this week”.
Taking in a sharp breath Scott squeezed his eyes shut. He then reopened his eyes and started speaking as he gripped his duvet, “I’ve been fine, just sick”. Suddenly Solidarity walked up to Scott’s bed, sat down and took off his mask. Now Scott had never seen Solidarity’s face up until then. But even through his foggy sick brain he couldn’t help but think how handsome he was. He had beautiful dirty blonde hair, and dark brown eyes.
There were light freckles that sprayed across his face and scales that glistened in the low light of his room. Then Scott felt himself breathe, he hadn’t really realized that he was holding it until he started coughing. Quickly the CodFather came over to him and started rubbing his back, helping Scott stop cough as much. Once Scott finally stopped coughing he muttered his thanks. “Here how about I take care of you?” the CodFather said with a small, concerned smile. “I’ll be fine”, Scott said before getting sent into another coughing fit.
“Okay fine…” Scott muttered, utterly defeated after calming down again. “Great! I’ll go get you some soup!” the CodFather said with a grin, getting up.

The CodFather had been taking care of Scott for a few days and he was finally better. “Thank you for taking care of my”, he said with a sheepish grin. “Your welcome! I’m happy to help anytime!” the CodFather said, pulling Scott into a hug, which surprised him. Hugging back Scott smiled, the hug was warm and nice. “Thank you so much..” Scott muttered pulling him closer with a final, warm smile.
