Work Text:

Tw: Drugs, drinking, party scene, mentioned vomit, gun/pointing a gun at someone

Note: Yes Tommy is trans in this, deal with it. Also this is a true story

Tommy stood leaning against the wall, tried as all hell but happy to be there. The loud noise and the smell of fruity drinks, vomit and sex filled the air around him. He didn't truly care for it, so it wasn't too much of a problem.

He lifted the can of coke he was drinking to his lips, thankful when it didn't taste like anything other than coke. You never knew at parties like this. He did however choke on the soda slightly and some fell from his mouth.

He glanced down at his outfit for a moment, making sure nothing got on his clothes. He was wearing a zip up hoodie, it half unzipped because it was so fucking hot in this room. Under it was his black binder, and to most it looked like a tank top so he didn't fully mind. He was wearing his normal cargo shorts and red converses as well, and he thought he didn't look too bad.

He looked around the room, looking at those who were there, those who were dancing, those who were singing poorly, but he was also looking for a flop of brown hair.

Wilbur had dragged him here, and Tommy went along because he wanted to hang out with Wilbur, and most of the time Wilbur stuck by his side, but now he was no where to be seen. In all honesty he probably just saw something or someone he knew and hadn't realized that Tommy wasn't near him.

Most of the time Wilbur did stick with him, and he would go looking for him if he saw Tommy wasn't there. Tommy learned just staying in one place helped, that way when Wilbur did come looking he wasn't also moving around too much.

Tommy finished off the can and set it on the bookshelf next to him, he didn't feel like trying to track down the garbage can right now. He shifted how he was leaning against the room and continued to look around the room. He kind of wanted to leave, wanted to be able to go home and take off his binder, but he knew he couldn't leave without Wilbur.

Suddenly a human being next to Tommy interrupted his thoughts. He blinked and there was just a person, panting as they tried to catch their breath.

Now Tommy knew this person to be Tubbo, someone Wilbur had briefly introduced him too at a party like this months and months ago. Tommy hadn't bothered talking to Tubbo outside of that so he couldn't even say they're even friends. He knew Tubbo's name and that's it, and most of the time he didn't feel like changing that.

Tommy stared at Tubbo, looking him up and down. Tubbo was wearing a t-shirt, a hoodie thrown over it but fully unzipped. He also was wearing jeans and blue converses. He was half bent over as he tried to breathe.

"T, can you do me a favor and" Tubbo said, but Tommy couldn't catch the back half of his sentence. Tommy stared at him confused, not sure what he was asking. Maybe it was the too loud music or maybe it was the fact that Tommy just had shit hearing.

"Sorry, what?" Tommy asked confused. Tubbo sighed like it was some major issue that Tommy wasn't hearing his problem, well maybe it was, but how was Tommy supposed to know.

"I said, T can you do me a favor and" Again Tommy didn't hear the back half of Tubbo's sentence. He stared at Tubbo still confused. He was also confused that Tubbo was just calling him T, before he remembered that Wilbur introduced Tommy as anything but Tommy at these things. There was at least 20 different people knowing him as 20 different things here.

"Sorry, come again?" Tommy repeated and again Tubbo sighed dramatically. Tommy rolled his eyes.

"Can you do me a favor and just" For the third time Tommy didn't hear shit. But he was tired of playing this game and whatever favor Tubbo could be asking him couldn't be too bad right? Well see.

"Sure, fine whatever." Tommy said and Tubbo smiled a huge smile, before he reached into his pocket and grabbed something out. Tommy wasn't even able to see what said something was before it was being shoved down his binder, and Tubbo was gone.

If Tommy didn't know any better he would swear Tubbo was teleporting, but that wasn't the concern here. The concern here was what did Tubbo shove down his binder and why?

Now Tommy, trying to do his best to pass as a cis male, can't just look down his binder to see what lies there, but he was very concerned about it. So looking around to see if anyone was staring at him, plot twist no one cares about the trans kid in the corner, he then took a look down his binder.

It was a plastic baggy, with some white thing in it that Tommy knew was not powdered sugar. He gulped as his eyes went wide and he looked back up. He looked around again for Wilbur, or maybe some sign of Tubbo.

What the hell was he supposed to do here? He had a gut feeling that these weren't Tubbo's drugs, and it's not like he could just drop them here, could he? What if he just left them here and someone else found them? Or what if Tubbo came back looking for them?

Tommy hadn't even touched drugs before this, so he had no fucking clue what to do with a bag of them shoved down his binder.

He didn't have to wait all too long before another person showed up. This was a person Tommy had never met before, and he was certain of that. He would have known if he met a 6'3 guy with side chops and a goofy grin.

He was staring Tommy down, and the grin made it feel creepy, so Tommy was not comfortable. He tried to act cool, but how cool can you be with someone else's drugs down your chest while at a party that you lost your best friend at?

"Hello." The man said and Tommy nodded at him, biting his lip. "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing good?" Tommy said, but it came out more like a question. The guy nodded and leaned on the wall next to Tommy. "Can I help you?" Tommy asked, confused on why he was even here.

"You're Wilbur's friend right?" He asked and Tommy paused, why was this guy bringing up Wilbur?

"Yeah, why?" Tommy asked as he narrowed his eyes, the guy laughed.

"I just have heard about you that's all. I find it funny no one seems to really know your name, I've gotten like 20 different ones." The guy said honestly and Tommy cracked a small smile.

"Yeah, Wilbur does that to confuse people. My name is Tommy." Tommy introduced himself and the guy nodded, staring out at the crowd in front of them.

"I'm Schlatt." Schlatt said and Tommy nodded as well, looking around for his soda before he realized he finished it already.

"Well I'm going to go get another soda." Tommy said, all plans of waiting here for Wilbur going out the window, this guy was making this spot feel unwelcomed.

"Woah woah Tommy, let's wait a minute shall we?" Schlatt asked coolly and Tommy looked at him confused, until he saw the gun in Schlatt's hand that was pointing at his stomach.

"What the fuck!" Tommy exclaimed, backing up from Schlatt. Schlatt laughed and stared down at Tommy.

"I believe you have something of mine, something you shouldn't have gotten ahold of in the first place." Schlatt said and Tommy's eyes went wide. Quickly he whipped the bag out of his binder, handing it over to the guy.

"This shit isn't mine and I didn't take it." Tommy explained as he held it out for Schlatt. Schlatt laughed at looked at Tommy.

"Oh yeah? Where'd you get it?" Schlatt questioned and Tommy paused for a minute, was he about to rat out a person he barely knew? Fuck yes he was, he got a gun pointed at him.

"Some guy ran over asking me if I could do him a favor, I don't know him, but he ran that way after stuffing it down my binder." Tommy explained and Schlatt nodded, leaning himself off of the wall.

"Alright thanks kid, I'm not sorry for pointing my gun at you, have a nice evening." Schlatt said before he walked away. Tommy stared as he left.

"Tommy!" He turned to see Wilbur walking towards him.

"Let's get out of here." Tommy said quickly and Wilbur looked at him weirdly. "I'll explain when we're in the car."
