“Don’t tell me you got bell peppers on your pizza again.” Esposito asked, his face in disgust.
Castle and Beckett had left to investigate a lead around three hours ago and Esposito and Ryan were stuck at the precinct to look at lots of CCTV footage. It was near dinner time, so the boys had ordered pizzas.
“You know I like bell peppers. You don’t have to talk here, you’ve got pineapple.” Ryan answered, nearly as much disgust in his voice.
“Kevin Ryan, you are a really nasty person.” Esposito said.
“Well, Javier Esposito, I thought you liked it when I was doing nasty stuff.” Ryan grinned and he wiggled his eyebrows.
Esposito just grinned in answer, taking another bite of his pizza.
Behind them, they heard a startled “What?!” and they both turned around to see a surprised Castle in the doorframe.
“What what ?” Esposito asked.
“ You two?! ”
“Castle, you are so oblivious sometimes.” Beckett said, rolling her eyes, before joining the guys to tell them what they’d found.
