Finally, after stopping the Armaggedon, Aziraphale could properly us- look at Crowley's body. The first hour in it was tricky. The first steps were tricky enough when it turned out that these seven centimetre gap between them did make a difference. It was also rather odd to wear the sunglasses all the time. Aziraphale wasn't used to see the world darker than it actually was. And the tight clothes. No matter how much he liked seeing them on Crowley, he had difficulties walking in them. That's why, he added a tartan collar to make himself more comfortable.
The angel had to admit that Crowley had really nice cheekbones and a smile. He literally stood in front of the mirror and grinned to himself, admiring the demon's smiley face. He would definitely have to make Crowley smile more. It was the most heart-warming sight.
'I wonder whether Crowley is so curious too,' the angel thought as he was walking around the demon's flat. It wasn't really Aziraphale's type but the awareness that the every room is filled with Crowley's scent was really relaxing. In fact, he had never been in the flat. Even when both of them had been spending time with each other, they would have done it in the bookshop. Which wasn't a bad thing, of course.
When Aziraphale looked at the watch he realized he had about twenty minutes until their meeting in the St James Park. Perhaps, he would stay in the flat for a longer while but there was something that Aziraphale wanted to try before swapping back.
As he expected, the Bentley was parked on the pavement, in front of the flat. There was nobody around it so the angel felt a bit more confident about fulfilling his plan.
Aziraphale, being a curious angel, had always been admiring Crowley driving the Bentley. He treated the car with such kindness and the angel could even say that they had some sort of bond. Aziraphale always wondered what would it feel like to drive an actual car. During the 6000 years on Earth, he had never driven anything actually (not counting the horse obviously). He preferred cabs. However, Crowley's style of driving seemed quite... dangerous to say the least. However, Aziraphale really wanted to try.
"It can't be that difficult, can it?" he said to himself as he sat behind the wheel.
The petrol gauge showed no petrol at all but Aziraphale remembered Crowley mentioning that he hadn't really needed any petrol since he had used a miracle to start the engine. That's why, the angel did the same. Suddenly, the whole car started to tremble as the engine roared. It was quite scary since Aziraphale had never experienced it on his own.
He moved his feet and again was surprised with how long the demon's legs were. He felt three pedals and, fortunately, the angel knew what they were doing.
"Clutch, brake and accelerator pedal," he named, remembering that one evening when Crowley decided to educate Aziraphale on the construction of his beloved Bentley. "And this has to be the stick," he added, looking at the gearbox.
Aziraphale swallowed, wiped off the drops of sweat from his forehead, took a few deep breaths and decided to give it a go.
"Alright, Crowley said that he didn't have to use the stick and the clutch." Of course, he didn't. What a disaster would it be to have to tire himself with changing the gears when the miracles could do these things for him. "So only this one?" Aziraphale stepped on one of the pedals but nothing happened. It must have been the brake pedal then.
Slowly, the angel moved his foot to the other pedal and confidently stepped on it and the car rapidly moved forward. Only when Aziraphale wanted to congratulate himself on his driving skills did he feel the car jerked and he heard a screech coming from the left side of the vehicle. Aziraphale immediately stopped the car and got out, checking what caused the noise.
"Fuck."

The men were sat on the bench, looking around in order to make sure nobody was watching them. They grabbed each other's hands and swapped back. It felt nice to be in your own body after at this. They shared the experience of being either in Heaven or in Hell and smiled at each other. Aziraphale felt so happy, being able to see Crowley's smile with his own eyes now.
"So, angel, let me tempt you to a spot of lunch?" the demon asked nonchalantly.
Aziraphale smiled. "Temptation accomplished."
They stood up, stretched their limbs and walked through the park. It was a sunny day so literally nothing could spoil their meeting now.
"How about the Ritz?" the angel suggested.
Crowley smirked. "Only the best places, eh? I'll drive us there." And in that exact moment Aziraphale's face turned pale. He was a fool if he had thought that he would have avoided that topic. However, he was really afraid how his friend would react.
"Don't you think it would be nice to just walk there?" the angel tried to steer Crowley away from this idea.
"Oh, please, angel, I can just miracle the Bentley here, where is it now?"
Aziraphale curled his lips and shrugged his arms.
"You don't know?" Crowley asked and the angel could hear a slight worry in his voice. After all, the car was really dear to the demon. Aziraphale couldn't just lie to him like that. Especially, when Crowley deserved the truth.
"It's in Mayfair..." Aziraphale said and immediately turned his look away when he saw the demon snapping his fingers.
"Hello there, beautiful," Crowley said, coming closer to the car. He brushed his fingers against the black paintwork and smiled. Of course, he had to look at his love from every angle and when Aziraphale noticed him going to the other side of the vehicle, he quickly grabbed his arm and looked at the demon with guilt.
"I'm so sorry, Crowley, I really didn't mean to damage your car, it just happened," he started, stuttering from time to time. "Probably- no, for sure, I shouldn't have touched your car but I just wanted to see what you feel when you're driving it and- I just- it was a-an accident, Crowley." Aziraphale was keeping a tight grip around the demon's bicep and looked at him with almost begging eyes. Some people even turned to watch the scene since it looked quiet unusual.
Crowley raised up his eyebrow with confusion. "What are you talking about, angel?"
Aziraphale sniffed. "I might have," he took a deep breath. "I decided to try to drive the Bentley but, well, it turned out that I'm not a natural and..." he didn't finish but only led Crowley to the other side of the car where both of them could see a long scratch that started on the Bentley's front door and ended right before the back wheel. It peeled off the paintwork so there was no way that somebody would not notice it. Crowley traced his finger along the scratch and didn't say a word which made the angel feel like crying even more.
Suddenly, the demon started laughing.
"Crowley? W-why are you laughing? I-I'm really sorry," Aziraphale said in a voice that was barely audiable.
The demon turned around to face him and it was quite odd because there was a big smile plastered to his face. Aziraphale was now even more confused. Maybe that was the moment when Crowley would tell him how dumb and reckless he was and that he wouldn't like to be his friend any more.
"You're a one curious angel, aren't you?" Crowley chuckled.
"I don't really understand. I'll give you money for the repair or I can even try to find a way to fix it myself!" Aziraphale offered with desperation in his voice.
The demon shook his head and only snapped his fingers. "Fixed." The angel looked at the car and there was no sign of the former screech. Of course! How could he be so stupid!? A mircale would fix everything. Now Aziraphale felt embarrassed.
"I'm sorry for making a fuss, I just- I think I was so worried about your reaction that I didn't even think about it," the blond tried to explain himself.
"Wait, worried? Why?" Crowley asked, visibly surprised.
Aziraphale swallowed. "Well, your car is very important to you and I thought you would be furious if you found out that I damaged it..."
The demon smiled softly. "Aziraphale." The angel looked up. Crowley only used his actual name when he was about to say something serious and important to him. "You really thought that I would put a car over you? Yes, I do have it for quite some time not but there's nothing more important to me than you."
"W-what? I am important to you?" the angel asked. Now his worry turned into confusion.
This time, Crowley blushed and bit his lip. Apparently, they touch a sensitive topic. "Well, yes. You've always been. From the Garden. When I've seen you for the first time, I knew our paths would cross many times." He scratched the back of his neck. "And I wanted that. Listen, I like spending time with you, I enjoyed every single moment of us doing something together and when I said that I'd lost my best friend, Aziraphale, I was talking about you. You are my best friend." The angel looked down a little ashamed. He would never have thought that somebody like Crowley would even think of him as a friend, let alone the best one.
"So I'm your best friend?"
Crowley chuckled. "You think I would let you take my body if you weren't my best friend? In fact, I think you are something more than just a friend to me..." he said and with every word his voice was becoming quieter.
"What does that mean?" Aziraphale asked, studying the demon's face precisely.
The ginger bit his lip. "Iloveyouangel."
"Sorry? I'm afraid I didn't catch that, could you repeat, please, my dear boy?" the angel said and for a second Crowley couldn't get himself to speak again. My dear boy. It was such a wonderful name and even better when it was said by Aziraphale and directed to Crowley.
"I-I lo-love you, an- Aziraphale," he stuttered and suddenly his cheeks matched the colour of his hair.
The angel smiled brightly as he'd just heard the best thing ever. In fact, he did. He took a step forward and put his hands on the demon's hips, pulling him gently closer to himself and connecting their lips in a gentle kiss, the frist that both of them really enjoy. The first, after over 6000 years of lasting in that denied feeling. Love.
"I love you too, my dear Crowley," Aziraphale said when they pulled back and the demon was so happy that he couldn't stop grinning like a fool. It was the happiest day of his life.
