Chapter Text
“Anthony!” the ginger heard and quickly looked up to see his Mr. Shadwell looking directly at him. “What are you doing on your phone?”
The boy hid the device under his pencil case and didn't answer.
“He misses his boyfriend, sir,” Gabriel smirked and looked at Crowley with a smug smile. The boy knew better than to talk back so instead he waited about two minutes and checked his phone one last time and unfortunately, Ezra didn’t respond to any of his texts.
They hadn't met on the bus because Tony had to be at school earlier than his boyfriend but still the ginger hoped they would see each other later. Sadly, it didn't happen. Crowley texted Ezra straight after the beginning of their first lesson. It wasn't typical of the boy to skip lessons so Tony started worrying when he didn't answer for the next three lessons. He felt lonely, sitting at the desk without Ezra. Generally, he wasn't paying much attention to the lesson but he was at least trying to take notes when his boyfriend was near.
However, today he felt the need to make all the notes so he could share them with Ezra. He knew what the boy didn't like being unprepared for the next lesson.
‘Just three more lessons…’ Tony thought and wrote down Mr Shadwell’s words.

“Bye, Tony! See you later!” Anathema said and waved at him as they were leaving school.
Anathema was throwing her birthday party tonight and both Tony and Ezra were invited. Ezra wasn't the biggest fan of parties but Anathema was his good friend so he couldn't just say no. And Tony? Tony liked socializing and annoying Gabriel so it was the best night to do both. However, he was still worried about the lack of response from his boyfriend.
As soon as he came back home, he unpacked his bag and took only the notes for Ezra. If he wasn't responding, Tony would go to him.
“Tony, where are you going? I thought you'd eat something,” Mrs Crowley said, seeing her son leaving the house.
“Zira wasn't at school today and he's not responding to my texts. I want to check on him,” he explained and sat at the table, joining his dad.
“Him mum would say something, if he wasn’t okay, darling,” the lady pointed out and kissed her son on his head, placing a plate with his meal in front of him.
Tony nodded and started eating dinner after checking his phone. Still no response.
When he was finishing his meal, he felt something being dropped on the table next to him. He looked up and saw his dad’s car keys.
“Take the car, I won’t need it for the rest of the day.” Tony grinned like a fool when he took the keys in his hand.
“I really can take the Bentley?” he asked to be totally sure. His dad didn’t let him drive it much. Hardly ever when Tony was about to drive it alone. And Tony loved that car. However, he preferred the older models but after all, a Bentley is a Bentley, and he wanted to use any chance to drive it.
“I won’t let you go to Ezra by bus,” his dad answered and winked, patting his son on the shoulder. “Just be careful because your mum will kill me otherwise,” he chuckled and ruffled the boy’s hair to tease him.
“Dad! Don’t ruin my hair!” he frowned and tried to fix it.
“Text me when you’ll get there, darling,” Mrs Crowley said and gave Tony a kiss on his cheek.
“Okay, okay, mum,” he quickly answered and put on his jacket and sunglasses.
Tony’s mum shook her head with a smile. “I’ll never understand why you wear them all year.”
Tony smiled. “Zira likes them,” he said, blushing, and left the house.
When he entered the garage, he had to stand for a while and admire the car inside. It was a black Bentley Continental GT which his dad had bought recently, knowing that his son always wanted a car like that one. In fact, Tony was more interested in the model from 1830s but he knew that it was quite tricky to get it.
Tony gently opened the door and sat down inside. Even though, he had his driving licence for less than half a year, he felt quite confident behind the wheel. However, most people, Ezra included, would say he’s driving like a demon.
He started the engine and enjoyed the familiar feeling of the vehicle starting working. He drove out of the garage and screeched away, wanting to be at Ezra’s house as fast as he can. Of course, he couldn’t forget about turning on his Queen playlist.
About halfway through, he spotted Beez and Gabriel walking down the road. Tony wouldn’t be himself if he didn’t speed up right behind them, scaring them a little but also getting his revenge from earlier.
“So long sucker!” he opened the window and shouted at the couple.

Tony pulled over in front of Ezra’s house. Before knocking at the door, he fixed his hair and jacket.
“Tony! It’s so good to see you,” Mrs Fell greeted him happily. Crowley had to admit she was a very kind and positive woman.
“Good afternoon, Mrs Fell,” he smiled at her. “I wanted to check on Zira. He wasn’t at school today and it’s not typical of him to skip lessons. And I got a bit worried because he didn’t respond to my texts. Also, I brought him notes from today,” he added pointing at his bag.
The woman invited him in. “Ezra felt unwell in the morning. He threw up so I decided to let him stay at home. I don’t think he actually used his phone today. He’s sleeping a lot so don’t be surprised if he’s still asleep now. But of course feel free to stay here until he wakes up, I’m sure he’ll appreciate you coming here,” Mrs Fell smiled at him and then went back to her chores.
It was really nice and comfortable to feel in Ezra’s house as in Tony’s own. Their parents fortunately liked one another as well so the boys had literally no reason to feel anxious or uncomfortable in each other’s houses.
Tony went upstairs and quietly opened the door to his boyfriend’s room. It was dark there and the only source of light was the setting sun that could be seen through the window. Ezra’s room was as clean as always. All the books were on their places, his clothes neatly folded and a plant that Zira called Crowley Jr or as he liked to call it Little Crowley was still standing on the boy’s desk, proudly growing up.
But the thing that Tony focused on was the sleeping silhouette on the bed, wrapped tight in a tartan blanket. The boy smiled and sat down on the bed, rubbing Ezra’s back. He didn’t want to wake him up, so he grabbed one of the boy’s books and started reading it, leaning against the wall, his hand still moving on Aziraphale’s back.
It’d been about thirty minutes when Mrs Fell brought them biscuits and tea. She also asked Tony to make sure Ezra would take all the medicine and drank his whole tea. Only a while after she left, Tony felt some movement on the bed. The blond hair nuzzled a bit more into the pillow before the boy rolled over on his back and straddled a little when he saw his boyfriend sitting on his bed.
“I’m sorry, angel, I didn’t mean to scare you,” Tony said, moving a bit closer and smiling apologetically.
Ezra yawned. “I didn’t expect you here, dear, he admitted and smiled back.
“You didn’t respond to my texts, I got worried,” the boy said softly. “I mean I just brought you notes.” He shrugged, trying to save his ‘cool’ attitude.
The blond chuckled and sat up, kissing Tony’s cheek but hen the boy wanted to pull his boyfriend in a kiss on his lips, Ezra pulled back.
“I’m still sick, dear,” he pointed out and took a look at Tony’s bag, lying on the floor next to the bed. “I think I should skip school more often if you’re going to actually pay attention and take notes,” he chuckled and received a nudge from the other boy.
“Don’t you dare! You don’t even know how boring it was. All six lessons sitting alone,” Tony whined and wrapped himself around Ezra. “Besides, not all of them are mine,” he mumbled in the boy’s neck. “Some of them are Anathema’s.”
The blonde smiled and rubbed Tony’s arm. “How lovely of he- Oh no!” Ezra tensed.
“Zira?” Tony moved away and looked at his boyfriend with confusion.
