"Did you at least enjoy the party?" Mark asked, craning his neck back to meet Falcon's gaze. His expression relaxed and his eyes half lidded, gentle hands caressing his back as Falcon's fingers pressed into tense muscle.
"I enjoyed the view more than anything." Falcon responded, a smile on his face as he let his eyes rake over Mark's form, his hand sliding down to rest against one of his favorite assets, "And I'm not talking about the view of the ocean."
Mark's face turned dark, "Eeek." He squeaked out, wanting to cover his beak in mortification of the noise that came out of him. He wasn't used to this.
But he could.
The world around them is quiet, and Mark wished it could always be like this. No stolen kisses and longing glances from across rooms and social classes. Mark leaned in, their beaks pressing in another kiss since they discretely retreated to Mark’s room. Ample time between them and different alibis concocted in case of questionings the following day.
And it was worth it. Falcon beneath him as his hands slowly roamed the expanse of bare skin. It was worth it.
They pulled apart. "You're cute when you act like this." Falcon blurted out, his turn now to be mortified at his own words.
"Shut up." Mark whined, burying his face in the soft plumage of Falcon's chest feathers. Falcon's heart thumping erratically in his chest. His body was shaking as Falcon laughed, Mark bouncing in place as he glared up at the older man.
Falcon grinned, teeth poking out between his beak. Mark’s eyes widening as he had but a moment’s notice before Falcon’s arms wrapped tightly around him as he rolled them. Mark’s beautiful form laid out beneath him, hair disheveled and eyes bright. He leaned forward again, their lips slotting together as if they belonged together. And they did. They belonged together.
Falcon pulled away, their breath mingling as Falcon whispered, “I love you.” He declared. Words that, every time they had been spoken to Mark never failed to make him blush. Make his heart race and his brain stop thinking. “I love you.” Falcon repeated, leaning down and pressing a kiss to his beak. “I love you.” A kiss trailing down, his beak fluffing the feathers of Mark’s neck. “I love you.”
Mark’s breath caught in his throat, could feel the solid mass almost suffocate him as Falcon’s hand came to cup his cheek. Fingers gently carding through the feathers of his neck, sliding up and tangling in his hair. Falcon pulled away and Mark whined in retaliation. “I love you.” Falcon spoke once more, leaning down to kiss Mark’s beak once more.
They pulled away, Mark’s body arching into Falcon’s, “I love you, too.” he replied, Falcon’s neck craned as he kissed at the now exposed feathers that were once hidden behind his button up. “I love you.” Mark repeated, his voice coming out in gasps as Falcon continued to kiss him.
Falcon pulled away, a wide grin on his features, and his cheeks flushed. He leaned forward, their foreheads pressed against each other. “I love you.” Falcon whispered out, pressing their beaks together once more.
