Chapter Text
Izuku was on top of a rather tall building, sitting on the edge, looking at the city below him. He sighed. The league and him were trying so hard to make things better in their own illegal way. But no matter what they do it doesnt seem to make any of a difference.
The city below was dark, having your lights on at night was considered dangerous now, why? He isn't exactly sure. But the lights were out and the stars were slightly more visible than usual. Izuku thought that was nice. Because it was. He liked the stars, he just never got to see them often. Light pollution was a bitch.
The loud blase of far off police sirens got his attention. It seems there was something important enough to actually have the police take care of, that was rare. It was usually left to the heroes, or them.
Izuku didn't really care enough to see what they were doing, that wasn't his territory. He just sat in silence, listening to the muffled siren.
The city below him was sad. It was empty and seeping with fear from those living there. Not that he was judging, it was understandable, with all that was happening. Not that he should get all that sad about it, this was the league's fault anyway.
Izuku felt bad, he just wanted to get revenge on those who hurt his friends, and now society was collapsing, great.
Izuku rested his hands behind him and looked back up at the faded stars. They were beautiful, unlike the city below. The city was broken and seeping with despair, the stars shone brightly, unaware of anything around them. Izuku felt bad about what he and the league did. They just wanted revenge, they never wanted this to happen. Too bad actions have consequences.
If the collapse of society was the leagues fault then maybe they should fix it, become a new government. Thinking about it, it isn’t that bad of an idea. It wouldn’t be too hard. The hardest part of the process would be getting Nezu on his side. But he thinks he can pull it off if he tries, and is given a few days' prep time. He knew Nezu wasn’t particularly fond of the old government anyways.
Izuku thought a little about a plan. It was possible, hard, but possible.
Izuku heads back home to the league, he thinks that this plan could actually work so he’s going to bring it up to Shigaraki.
Back at the league he finds Shiggy sitting at the bar with Natsuo, Kurogiri behind the table washing dishes. He doesn’t really want to disturb them but the gays can wait.
“Hey Shig, I need to talk to you.” Izuku said.
Shigarakis' decent mood deflated immediately as he turned around on the bar stool. “What do you want?”
“I have an amazing plan for something the league can do!” Shigaraki only grumbled in response. “We can become the new government of Japan!” Izuku exclaims.
“You really think we could pull that off?”
“Yeah! I have a base plan and I still need to work the kinks out. But I think we could do it!” Izuku explains.
“Alright, what's your plan?”
Izuku sat down on the bar stool next to him and went off about his amazing plan. Shigaraki was listening closely and you could tell on his face that he was getting more convinced by the minute.
“I suppose it could work.” Shigaraki admits.
“Yeah, I still would need a bit more time to work out the details but it could seriously work!”
“I think it's a wonderful plan and we should give it a try.” Kurogiri says from behind the counter.
“Yeah totally.” Natsuo agrees.
“Great! I'll get everyone down and we can talk about it.” Izuku said, jumping down from the bar stool on his hunt to get everyone else.
After finding the rest of the league and telling them to come to the living room, he started talking about the plan.
“I’m really lovin’ this plan.” Hawks said. “I mean, becoming the government!? Best idea ever.”
“We could have so much fun!” Toga exclaimed. She thought about that her and Urakaka wouldn’t have to hide their relationship anymore.
“It would make getting rid of false heroes so much easier!” Spinner exclaimed. “I'm totally in!”
“We could free mom.” Shoto mumbled. Only Fuyumi heard him and she patted him on the back.
“We could.” She mumbled back.
“We could get rid of all queerphobic laws!” Magne exclaimed.
“It would be fun to be free…” Mr. Compress said.
Izuku listened to all of his friends' excitement about the plan. He giggled, this will be fun. The plan is coming together so nicely and everyone is in agreement.
First things first he needed Nezu on his side. That really was the deciding factor of if they can succeed or not. Izuku knew Nezu to a certain extent, they didn’t talk all too much when Izuku went to UA but he knows a good amount about him. He just really needs to be careful about what cards he plays. One wrong move and its game over. That's how it goes with Nezu. But it's the same with Izuku. Nezu isn't the only genius around town.
Izuku ponders his plan a little more, it was decent enough but needed to be better. At this rate they’ll never get Nezu on his side. He just needed something to make it work, one more piece to this puzzle. But he has no idea what it is.
Iuku sighs and thinks some more. He swears he almost has it. He feels so close. He thinks about Nezu more, he's a bit crazy, likes tea, scarily smart, and just plain scary sometimes. He isn't the most emotionally intelligent but he tries to understand his students and colleges.
Izuku has it.
He has a plan.
Nezu better watch out, because he is coming for him.
