“Shouto! Move!”
Sero slammed into Shouto’s side, saving him from the large villain trudging toward him at full speed. They slammed to the ground with a grunt and the child in between them whimpered. Sero pushed himself up and glanced down at her.
“You okay?” He pushed his helmet up, eyes furrowed in worry.
Shouto watched as Sero ran a hand through the kid’s unruly white hair. She nodded against Shouto’s chest.
“Y-Yeah, I’m fine,” she panted. “Thank you.”
Sero nodded and slammed his helmet shut, getting to his feet.
“Han- Cellophane ,” Shouto helped the girl to her feet. “What are you doing?”
“Here!” Sero lightly shoved her into his arms. “Protect her! I’ve got this!”
“Wha-”
Sero dodged a fist and let his tape out, wrapping it around the villain’s wrist. He was huge with a muscle-related quirk. He yanked his arm, successfully jerking him off balance. With a feral grin, Sero twirled in the air, wrapping his legs around the man’s neck and using his weight to flip him onto his back. The villain fell hard with Sero straddling him. He glanced back and sneered.
“Go!” Sero yelled.
“Tch!” Shouto picked up the girl and ran. “That idiot.”
“U-Uh! Mr. Shouto?” the girl spoke up.
Shouto dodged another villain, stomping his foot and encasing them in ice. “Yes?”
“I-”
“Shouto!”
Shouto tapped his earpiece. “About time, Dynamight! Where the hell are you!?”
“Sorry, Shouto,” Izuku spoke next.
“Yeah, man,” Eijirou said. “We got caught up.”
Shouto rolled his eyes. “You three are gonna be the death of me.”
“Hah!?” Katsuki screamed in his ear. “The fuck does that mean?”
Shouto jumped back and kicked the side of a villain’s face, snapping his head to the side causing his eyes to roll back and slump to the ground.
“I mean the three of you can’t keep your hands to your goddamn selves long enough to do your jobs!”
“What!?” Izuki sputtered. “W-We- I-I didn’t-!”
“Save it, Deku. I can hear how flustered you are,” he spat.
“For fuck’s sake,” Katsuki muttered.
“Where are you?” Izuku asked.
“ I am trying to get this kid out of the fight,” Shouto ran down an empty aisle.
“Where’s Cellophane!?” Eijirou shouted, frantically.
Shouto stopped behind a dumpster with a sneer on his face. “He’s still back there. A lot of the villains are down thanks to Tentacole, but there are 2 villains with muscle quirks. Tentacole has one and Ha- Cellophane has the other.”
“Slipping on the name are we?” Shouto could hear the smirk in Katsuki’s voice.
“Shut up! Just get to him!”
“On it,” Eijirou confirmed.
The line went silent and Shouto sighed, shoulders sagging. He ran a hand down his face before facing the girl and physically pausing.
“Um.”
The girl smiled at him nervously, actively wringing her wrists as she glanced at the 4 kids in front of her.
“U-Um. What-” Shouto frowned. “What just happened?”
She grimaced. “I tried to tell you earlier but we got interrupted.”
“Tell me… what?” He kept his gaze on the 4 kids now hyper-focused on him.
“My quirk activated,” She tugged on her short white hair. “I-I don’t know how exactly it activates but I do know that it makes children. Perfectly mixed between two people.”
“Perfectly… mixed,” Shouto trailed off, cheeks tinting as he stared at them in awe. “They are… perfect.”
There were four of them. From what he guessed, it was 3 boys and a girl considering they each wore a simple white gown that hung to their feet. Their heights were different so they had to be of different ages.
The tallest was the girl. She had long wavy black hair with red roots and she stared at Shouto with a gentle smile matching Sero’s and intense blue eyes.
Next to her was a boy about an inch shorter with the same wavy shoulder-length black hair and red roots. His left eye was brown like Sero’s while his right eye was grey like his.
Standing shyly next to him was a boy lightly clinging to his side. His hair was short and red and he peaked at Shouto with brown eyes. Shouto smiled at the reminder of him being a timid kid and waved. The kid blinked owlishly before blushing brightly and burying his face in the boy’s side, steam actively floating from the top of his head. Shouto let out a wet laugh before his glossy eyes flitted over to the smallest boy sitting on the ground on the other side of the girl.
His grey eyes sparkled as he openly stared at Shouto, head full of blinding white hair. His tiny hands pulled on the gown he wore and Shouto noticed the small tape like circles on the sides of his wrists. He lifted his hands and made grabby hands for him.
“Da!”
Shouto blinked once then twice before tears poured from his eyes. The girl he rescued flinched.
“I-I- Oh, no! Are you okay!?”
Shouto wordlessly reached down and picked him up. He held him close, unmatching eyes admiring every inch of him. The boy placed his small hands on his cheeks and smiled brightly.
“Hi, Da!”
Shouto nibbled on his wobbling lip before smiling at him. “H-Hi.”
The boy giggled and slid one hand to his scar. He pouted, running his fingers over them. Shouto watched him like a hawk before eyeing the other kids. His kids. Fuck, these are his kids. The kids he shares… with Hanta. Shouto’s face burst into light flames, but he quickly controlled them. His youngest laughed cheerily.
To make things worse… Shouto and Sero weren’t dating… at all. Of course, there have been a few times they’ve flirted while under the influence and there was that one time Shouto had kissed him because of a dare but nothing else happened. Shouto didn’t have the courage to confess to him so he just obsessively pined from afar.
Staring at them now, Shouto admits that he had once wondered what their kids would look like, you know, like every other crushing idiot in the world. Despite the fact that they couldn’t actually have kids together because they were both men, he still thought about it. But not a single daydream matched the absolute beauty these 4 had standing in front of him.
The girl cleared her throat and Shouto snapped out of his thoughts.
“Ha. Okay, so my name is Keiko,” she waved at him. “I’ve had my quirk for a few years.”
“He talks,” Shouto glanced back at the toddler in his hands.
“Yeah. They all do,” Keiko nodded. “They have basic knowledge of their age.”
She walked up and placed a hand on the tallest girl. “She’s the oldest at 7, and this is her younger twin.” Keiko patted the boy next to him.
“This little guy is 4, and the one you’re holding is 2.”
Shouto nodded, taking in the information. “Okay. Do they have our quirks?”
Keiko nodded again. “The one you’re holding has a quirk similar to Cellophane’s. He can shoot tape-shaped ice out of the palms of his hands.”
“Cool,” he muttered.
“The 4-year-old has your fire quirk that’s also tape-shaped except it comes out of his fingers. He might also be able to make regular fire like you can.”
Shouto glanced at his hands and took in the circles around the bases and knuckles.
“The twins have your quirk,” Keiko told him. “The girl has the fire and he has the ice.”
“Holy shi-”
“Shouto!” Izuku yelled in his earpiece. “Shouto, are you there?”
Baby 4 eyed the earpiece curiously and Shouto lightly batted his hand away before he could touch it.
“Y-Yeah. I’m here.”
“Where the fuck are you?” Katsuki asked.
“Uh,” Shouto glanced around. “In an alleyway.”
“Shouto-”
“There’s an… issue,” Shouto furrowed his eyebrows. “Not a villain issue, but… I’m gonna need assistance?”
“What!? Are you okay?” Eijirou rushed.
“I’m fine, I’m fine,” Shouto shook his head before flinching. “Where’s Han- Cellophane ?”
The 4 kids gasped at his name before bouncing in excitement. “Papi!”
Shouto blushed brightly, heart hammering in his chest. Why is that so cute?
“Uhhh. Papi?” Izuku chuckled lightly.
“Are those kids ?” Eijirou asked, exasperated.
“Yeah. They’re mine and… Hanta’s…” he trailed off, face flushing again. Saying it out loud made this all too real. “There was a quirk incident.”
“Shit,” Katsuki cursed.
“We’ve got your location,” Izuku said. “Stay put.”
“Cellophane’s fine by the way,” Eijirou answered smugly. “We’re on the way to you.”
“Okay.”
The line went dead and Shouto stood there blankly for a moment before facing Keiko.
“Are you okay? You’re not hurt anywhere?”
Keiko shook her head. “No. ‘M just tired now that I’ve used my quirk.”
Shouto frowned. “How often does this happen?”
She shrugged. “Not often. I try to keep myself from touching people so it won’t activate. Can’t just randomly give people kids.”
Shouto blinked at that but nodded.
“Is Papi coming?”
He glanced at the oldest before nodding. “Yeah, he’s coming.”
She smiled before lurching forward and wrapping her arms around his waist. Shouto tensed before lightly patting her head.
“Are you okay, Dad?”
He smiled gently before nodding, running his fingers across her scalp. “Yeah, I’m fine.”
“You were working right?” her twin asked, now fully holding the 4-year-old. “You and Papi?”
“Yeah,” He glanced at Keiko. “How much do they know?”
Keiko tapped her chin with her finger. “Well, I’d guess everything I know about the two of you, that you two are heroes and work in the same agency.”
Shouto nodded. “Do they have names?”
“They do!” She smiled.
“Oh?”
His daughter lifted her head. “I’m Aiko!”
“I’m Tomo,” her twin said with a short wave.
“I-I’m Shiori,” the 4-year-old turned in Tomo’s embrace, fully facing him.
“That is Hajime,” Aiko told him.
Shouto glanced down at Hajime only to find him easily passed out, drool hanging over his chin. He snorted, lifting his hand and wiping away the drool.
“Guess he’s just like me,” Shouto muttered.
A familiar explosion and fizzing sounded above the building before Katsuki and Izuku dropped to the ground. Tomo and Shiori flinched before darting behind him and pressing their faces into his back. Aiko eyed the two heroes curiously.
“Shouto!” Izuku rushed forward, worry written in his eyes. “You okay?”
“I’m fine, Deku,” Shouto sighed.
Katsuki stalked up to the group, eyes already calculating as they darted over the 4 kids surrounding them. “These the brats?”
Shouto scowled. “Don’t call my kids brats.”
Katsuki snorted as Izuku gasped.
“Holy All Might,” he breathed. “They look like both of you! This is so cool! I-”
“Oi!” Katsuki snapped. “Don’t go spewing your nerdy bullshit!”
“Haha, sorry, Kacchan,” Izuku scratched at his cheeks before facing Keiko. “Hi! This is your quirk, right?”
Keiko nodded. “That’s right.”
“Cool!” Izuku pulled a notebook from behind his back, pen in hand. “Tell me everything.”
“Where the fuck did you even get that?” Katsuki glared.
“Roki!”
Tape flew over him and Sero swooped down to the ground, Eijirou clinging to his side. They dropped to the ground and Eijirou quickly let go of him, face a bit green.
“I hate flying,” he grumbled.
Sero cracked a grin. “Sorry, man.”
Shouto caught his gaze and he rushed forward. “Hey! You okay? I didn’t get to-”
“Papi!”
Shiori took off and jumped into his arms.
“Whoa!” Sero swiftly caught him, hefting him into his arms. “I- Well, hello? Who’s… Papi?”
His voice trailed off as he took in Shiori’s features. Those were brown eyes, his brown eyes. The same light shade that he hates looking at… until now, now that they’re paired with beautiful red hair and a cheeky grin.
“H-Hi,” it barely came out as a whisper.
Shiori smiled again. “Hi, Papi!”
“Papi?” Sero repeated. He slowly glanced to the side, taking note of Aiko and Tomo who were now standing in front of Shouto beaming up at him. “What… is going on?”
“Well, now that everyone’s here!” Izuku perked up, adjusting the pen in his hand. “Can you tell us everything? From the beginning?”
The five of them faced Keiko who smiled nervously. “Sure!”
And she did. She told them how she felt her quirk wake the moment she was pressed in between Shouto and Sero’s chests. How she felt 4 different personalities brewing inside of her and how strongly loved they were. Izuku asked if she knew why it activated between the two of them and Keiko told him she wasn’t 100% sure but that it was due to them having a connection.
Shouto found himself blushing despite knowing that Sero is one of his best friends. It was obvious they had a connection and Sero knew that too, but to have kids come out of this? That’s something completely different from his experience with Hanta.
Sero watched Shouto listen to Keiko talk about the quirk with so much longing and newfound hope that had been squashed years ago. He shifted from hefting Hajime up his hip every few minutes to affectionately running his hands through Aiko and Tomo’s hair. Shiori stayed attached to Sero’s side and he let him be as Shiori ran his hand over the fabric of his hero suit.
“I have a question,” Shouto spoke up.
“Go ahead,” Keiko smiled warily.
“How… How long do they stay?” he frowned.
“I was wondering too,” Sero nodded.
“Well, until they die,” Keiko shrugged. “They’re just like us except made from a Quirk. They know everything they’ll learn in school at their respective age, but they’re also aware that they were made from a quirk and not from an egg and sperm. Granted, they still know that you both are their parents.”
Shouto and Sero glanced at each other. Sero gave him a small smile and Shouto returned it with a blush.
“So they can still get injured like a regular child?” Izuku asked.
“Jesus christ, Deku. They’re humans, not robots,” Katsuki hissed.
“I was just curious!” he pouted.
“Can you like… put them back?” Eijirou asked.
Keiko shrugged again. “I have no idea. I’ve never tried and no one’s ever asked before. They were surprised by the kids, but they always kept them.”
Eijirou nodded in understanding. Keiko faced Shouto and Sero.
“Do you want to-”
“No.”
They flinched, glancing at the other before looking away. Katsuki and Eijirou gave them smug looks while Izuku smiled brightly.
“I-I just,” Shouto sighed, peering down at Hajime. “I don’t really… see myself having kids with someone else at all, so I’d like to keep them.”
“Someone else?” Katsuki grinned. “Is Han your one and only, Halfie?”
“Yes,” he deadpanned before jolting at his response and burning bright red. “I-I mean, I don’t- I wouldn’t-”
Sero laughed and nudged his side. “It’s alright. I get it.”
Shouto’s eyes widened. “You… do?”
“Mhm,” he grinned. “We can talk about it later though. For now-” he lifted Shiori up and over his head, setting him on his shoulders making him laugh. “We need to get them some clothes.”
“Right,” Shouto nodded, trying to calm his racing heart.
“Where are they gonna stay?” Eijirou frowned. “Hanta stays with Denki and Hitoshi.”
“With me?” Shouto lifted an eyebrow. “Where else?”
“That’s right!” Izuku beamed. “Shouto has a huge penthouse! Didn’t Tenya just move in with Ochako?”
“Yeah. I’m back to 3 extra rooms,” he shrugged. “I can have some beds ordered by tonight.”
“What about rooms?” Hanta gently rubbed the bottom of Shiori’s feet.
“I figured Aiko and Tomo can get their own room,” Shouto shrugged. “Shiori and Hajime can share the last one, though Hajime will probably be with me.”
“Oh?” he smirked. “Why is that?”
Shouto stared at him. “He’s sleeping with me. I’m never letting him out of my sight.”
Hanta belted out a laugh. “Yeah, alright. I’ll give you that.” He leaned over and pressed a small kiss to Hajime’s forehead. “He is super cute.”
Shouto smiled, trailing his finger along Hajime’s jaw. “Yeah.”
Sero watched him, his heart running miles. “What color are his eyes?”
“Grey like mine,” Shouto shrugged.
He hummed in response, eyes lazily tracing his face. Shouto really is beautiful. He’ll never get over how handsome he is. Eijirou and Katsuki glanced at each other knowingly before Eijirou stalked closer to him, dropping his voice.
“How long do you think it’ll take for them to finally realize they’re in love?” Eijirou asked.
Katsuki shrugged. “Knowing Sho, fucking months.”
Eijirou snorted lightly. “Probably. I think Han might confess first though.”
“Pfft. Yeah, right,” Katsuki shook his head. “It’s been, what, 7 years since Yuuei and he hasn’t said a fuckin’ word.”
“True, but this might give him some confidence,” Eijirou wrapped a meaty arm around Katsuki’s neck. “I think raising children together is a bit… intimate.”
Katsuki grunted but nodded in agreement.
“Oh! Are you two gonna do joint custody?” Izuku asked.
“No?” Shouto made a face.
“Oh,” he grimaced. “Dumb question.”
“No shit,” Katsuki snorted.
“Deku, come in, Deku.”
Izuku pressed on his earpiece. “Deku, here.”
Hawks sighed. “‘Bout time kid. What the hell happened?”
“Ah, sorry,” Izuku smiled sheepishly. “I was checking up on a situation.”
“What situation?”
Izuku glanced at Shouto and the kids clinging to him. “A quirk situation.”
Hawks groaned. “Somebody got hit with a quirk? What is it? ”
“It’s Shouto,” Izuku huffed. “I think it’s better if we just… show you.”
It was silent before a telltale voice shouted through the coms. “SHOUTOOOO!!”
“Fuck,” Shouto mumbled.
Sero grimaced, taking out his earpiece with a glare. “Why so loud?”
Shiori snickered above him and Sero smiled up at him. “Oh, you think that’s funny?”
He grinned and nodded his head enthusiastically.
“Shouto! Is everything alright!?” Endeavor yelled.
“Everything’s fine, old man! Stop screaming!” Katsuki yelled.
“Oh. Sorry.”
Shouto sighed. “I’m fine. We’ll meet you at the agency.”
It was quiet for a moment. “Are you sure?”
“I’m sure,” he nodded, then made a face. “Could you bring mom?”
“Um,” Endeavor cleared his throat. “Yeah. Okay.”
“Ok, bye.”
Shouto yanked the earpiece out with a frown. Hanta stepped closer, gently placing his hand on his lower back. “You okay?”
Shouto tensed, but relaxed, letting Hanta carry some of his weight. “Yeah… I don’t know how they’re going to react.”
“Was that your dad?” Tomo asked.
He sighed and nodded. “Yeah.”
“He’s loud,” Aiko wrinkled her nose.
“Very,” Shouto grinned.
“Is he scary?” Shiori asked, leaning on top of Sero’s head.
He shrugged. “No. He’s just tall.”
“Alright!” Izuku adjusted Keiko in his arms. “We’ve found her parents so I’m going to return her to them. Everything with the fight has been handled by other heroes, so Hawks says you both are clear to head in early for the day.”
“Alright.”
Izuku shot off, darting across the walls before disappearing over the roof.
“Alright!” Eijirou grinned, bending down to the twins’ level. “I’m your uncle Kiri and this is my husband, Katsuki. The one who just left is also my husband. That’s Izuku.”
“Hi, Uncle Kiri,” Shiori waved.
Eijirou gave him a high-five.
Aiko glanced at Katsuki. “Can I call you Uncle Katsu?”
Katsuki grinned. “Sure, kid.”
Tomo blinked. “You have 2 husbands?”
“Yep,” Eijirou smirked. “Pretty manly, huh?”
Tomo nodded, a blush painted on his cheeks. He turned toward Sero. “Papi, can I have 2 husbands?”
Sero laughed and ruffled his head. “You can have as many husbands as you want.”
“Cool,” he mumbled.
“Alright, come on,” Shouto nudged them forward. “It’s getting too close to winter and I don’t need any of you getting sick.”
Katsuki grinned. “Okay, Mom .”
Shouto rolled his eyes and walked away. Eijirou picked up both Aiko and Tomo and the group headed out the alleyway. Shiori and Aiko talked a mile a minute about everything they saw. Tomo was tucked into Shouto’s left side, shivering lightly. He wordlessly shifted Hajime to the middle of his chest and heated his body. Tomo hummed in delight, hugging him tighter.
“Kats, can you do me a favor?” Shouto spoke up.
“Hm?” He glanced back at him.
“Can you get the kids some clothes while we talk to the agency?” He chewed on the inside of his lip. “I just-”
“Got it.”
Katsuki shot out explosions from his hands and blasted through the air.
“Whoa,” Shiori watched him leave. “Cool.”
“Is that his Quirk?” Aiko asked, glancing down at Eijirou.
“Yep,” He grinned. “He can create explosions with the sweat in his hands.”
“Gross,” Tomo grumbled.
Shouto grinned. “I know right. You should call him Uncle Klammy.”
Tomo laughed and Sero shook his head. “Don’t call him that. He’ll be mad.”
He grinned. “I’m totally calling him that.”
Shouto smiled and kissed the top of his head. “That’s my boy.
