Ch 9 The curse hadn’t even been what had wiped out Khaenri’ah, nor the other civilization. He hadn’t known this. He hadn’t known that Khaenri’ah had been attacked, before having a nail dropped on them much like the one on Dragonspine.
He also hadn’t known that there was more to it than Gold’s alchemical creations. He had always learned, when reading old storybooks, that it was a master of Khemia called Gold who had lead to the destruction of Khaenri’ah.
At the time, he had prided himself in this knowledge. Most people he knew had not even heard of Khaenri’ah, much less the details of its fall.
So no, his view of Khaenri’ah had not been particularly positive. The storybooks had made it so.
