“I’ll do worse than that if you untie me,” Hargrove growled, as if making threats from the position he was in was somehow normal.
“Yeah, because that makes me want to untie you,” Steve snarked back without thinking. Then he sighed and dragged a hand through his hair. He didn’t sign up for this shit. “Listen, yes this sucks, but it’s only for a couple of hours. Why don’t you just chill?”
“I’ve been fucking kidnapped, you fuck! I’m supposed to play the finals right now, not kick back and relax while being fucking tied to a chair!”

Notes:
I normally try to minimize my accent a bit, but for some reason Steve ended up sounding like Blinky Bill when he was making up the excuse at the end (really Australian cartoon from the 90s about a koala), and Billy became a 1900s orphan from England when he was talking to Neil, so I have no idea what happened with the voice lmao but I think it worked?!?! Hope?!?!? I guess I just needed to channel those vibes to get the right emotion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
