   Summary

   For a monster, Luke possessed an extraordinary beauty, which only intensified when he was lost in the embrace of sleep. His allure had always struck Alex as otherworldly, and in many ways, it was. All vampires were supposed to be beautiful creatures—at least, that's what Alex had been taught. However, lacking sufficient experience with others of his kind, Luke stood as his first encounter with a vampire.

   In fact, Luke was his first in every way.
