Chapter Text
That night in the wind and rain, darkness swallowing the forest whole. This is where they met, two souls lost in a unforgiving world. Touya was on his way back home from town when he heard it, the pained caws and desperate trills of a injured bird. He set down his bags and broke away from the path, pushing branches out of his way until he found it. A little bird with feathers the color of fresh spilled blood sitting at the base of a tree.
Touya looked around, expecting to see a faulty trap or some sort of predator but finding nothing. He leaned down, gently scooping the little bird up. "Where did you come from?" He asked softly, shielding the creature from the wind in his jacket. He started to walk back home with the bird, completely forgetting his groceries.
He pushed open the door with a groan, taking the little birdy into his kitchen. Once they were in the warm cabin he looked for what was causing the bird so much pain. Poor thing had a broken wing. After spending some time looking up what to do on his phone he gave up and just wrapped it, deciding to try a healing spell later. That could wait, now he had to go back and get the stuff he forgot on the trail.

The witch expected to see a few things when he got home. The bird still sitting where he left it? Unlikely but maybe it was scared. A mess? Yeah, probably the case considering he left a wild animal in his kitchen. What he didn't expect to see was a very naked boy with bright red wings and beautiful blonde hair. He couldn't have been much younger than Touya by the looks of it.
"Oh my sweet Gods above cover yourself up-" Touya blurted out, dropping his bags a second time to cover his face. Keigo squeaked, grabbing a blanket from the couch to cover the lower half of his body. "I thought you left!" He said, blushing furiously.
"I did! Who- Who the fuck are you? Where did you come from? Get out!" Touya shouted, his face just as red as Keigo's. He summoned a flame in his left hand, approaching Keigo.
"Hey, YOU brought ME here! And you didn't tell me to leave!" Keigo whined, leaning away from Touya. "Get away, creep!" The blonde shouted.
"Oh- Oh I'm the creep? You're the one sitting naked on my couch! And I brought a bird in here! Not some random kid! Get out." Touya huffed, though he did put the flame out. He crossed his arms over his chest. Those wings did look awfully familiar... Maybe this guy was telling the truth. Plus he was kinda cute.
Keigo pouted, glaring at Touya. "I'm like a year younger than you, weirdo." He mumbled. "You really gonna kick a poor, defenseless, injured, naked boy out into the cold rainy night?" He asked, giving Touya his best puppy dog eyes.
"Yes." Touya said firmly, pointing to the door. "Go home." He ordered, eyes penetrating Keigo's very soul. Suddenly he felt naked in a far less literal way. What would it take to make Touya look at him like that more?
"I- Please let me just stay the night! The guy who did this I'd still out there and I really don't have any clothes." Keigo said, holding his hands together like he was praying. "I'll do whatever you want."
"Whatever I want?" Touya asked, raising an eyebrow at the desperate display. "Well, that is tempting... Fine. I want you to clean for me. In exchange I'll give you clothes and you can stay here for a little while." He said, grinning at a confused Keigo.
"That's it? I can do that! Thankyousomuch!" Keigo chirped, bowing his head to Touya. When he looked back up the black haired male was already gone, probably off getting the blonde something to wear. He waited patiently on the couch, whistling until Touya returned.
The black haired male gave Keigo the clothes, blushing and making himself when Keigo dropped the blanket to get dressed. God he was so pretty, and so eager to do what Touya wanted. He wondered-
Touya shook the thoughts out of his head, sighing. "My name is Dabi. What's yours?" He asked, looking back at Keigo who in turn introduced himself as Hawks. Interesting name for a Interesting birdy.
"You'll get started in the morning. You can sleep on the couch I guess. Touch anything and I'll turn you into chicken parmigiana." Touya threatened before heading off to bed, thoroughly confused by the whole encounter. He made sure to lock his door before changing and getting in bed, getting assaulted by some weird fucking bird thing in his sleep was definitely not on his fucket list.
