As Gerard's lying in the hospital bed, still disoriented after the seizure, he sees a yellow door appear right at the foot of his bed Oh... That's odd. He wonders if Gertrude is seeing this or if it's an effect of the pain meds Or brain damage... But as he looks around, he notices she's left him...He looks back to the yellow door, which is now open, a tall figure in a winter jacket stepping out of it. They seem to ever so subtly pulse with colors, leaving an afterimage as they move to him, smiling down at him with a smile that stretches a bit too wide.
But he's too weak... Too out of it to stop them when they start to disconnect his monitors and IVs. Their golden curls dripping down into his face as they lean over and pick him up, carrying him into their door. Are they here to take his skin? his bones? To do something with his fading life? Does it matter? he closes his eyes.
When he finally wakes again, he finds that despite his body still feeling heavy, his head hurts less than it has in years... Though that changes as soon as he opens his eyes and sees the swirling halls he's in and the matching swirling man watching him.

Downstream.
Dabi and Hawks run away from the war, the League loses and ends up in Tartarus to rot. Dabi is eventually caught and suffers extreme damage before Hawks and Shouto force him out of prison to return home. Dabi’s mind slowly degrades, but he’s finally with Hawks and his family.

The end of the road has been met.
