Chapter Text

Grandma Oni gave me this book to write out my thoughts. I thank her for that. I'm grateful that I still have her in my life, or I would have been dead before long. I'm excited to see where this life of mine will go, but hopefully it will be towards a brighter future.
I saw a baby boar following its mother in the bountiful forests of Inazuma. I may not know much about my parents due to Grandma Oni never divulging upon what happened to them, but I know they are already dead. The purging of the Red Oni are the cause, and I'm grateful that the Blue Oni have come out alive.
There will be family out there. But for now, Grandma Oni is all I need.
I was in Inazuma City, playing with the kids and mostly losing the games I claimed to win. A member of my gang came up to him, short of breath and keeling over.
"Yo, what's goin' on with you? What happened?" I asked with his loud voice.
"Grandma Oni." The man stuttered her name as he tried to take in gulps of breaths.
"What happened to Grandma Oni? Oi, tell me quick!" I grabbed his shoulders and shook him, trying to urge him to tell him what happened.
"She's dead, boss."
"What...?"
"She's dead, died of old age."
Huh?
Oh.
Oh.
The one person who I needed all my life is gone now. What-
What should I do now? She's- She's all I have.
Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me.Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me."Let's go back and bury her. Maybe get flowers and decorate her grave too. I know she would like that." I said as I walked away from the kids.
"Hey boss, are you... okay?" He worriedly asked me as I didn't turn my head to acknowledge that I heard him.
"I'm fine, I just need to bury her peacefully and ask for the archons to allow her to rest in the afterlife. After all-" It's what she deserves for taking care of a selfish brat like me.
I felt something drip down my face. I do not know what it is, but maybe I will never know.
Why am I so alone in this cruel world? Why does nobody love me? Am I hard to love? Is that why people I love leave me?
